A spreadsheet-style panel to view, create, and bulk-edit product prices across multiple pricelists in one place. No need to open each pricelist separately.

What does this module do?

Product Pricelist Panel adds a spreadsheet-style view to Odoo where rows are products (or variants) and columns are pricelists. Managers can read, create, and update prices without navigating to each pricelist individually.

Bulk selections, visual alerts for zero prices and duplicate pricelist rules, and a rich set of filters make large-scale price management fast and error-resistant. Role-based access (User / Editor / Admin) keeps sensitive pricing operations secure.

Spreadsheet-style panel

Products in rows, pricelists in columns. Scroll, filter, and edit prices exactly as you would in a spreadsheet, all inside Odoo.

Inline price editing

Double-click any cell to create or update a price. Press Enter to save instantly. No popups, no page reloads.

Bulk selection and mass update

Hold CTRL and drag across cells to select multiple prices at once, then press Enter to apply a new value to all of them simultaneously.

Visual price alerts

Cells with a price of zero are highlighted in red. Cells with duplicate pricelist rules for the same product are highlighted in yellow.

Filters and sorting

Filter by product name, internal reference, or category. Sort the list by name, number of duplicate rules, or price to quickly locate what needs attention.

Role-based access control

Three access levels -- User (read-only), Editor (update existing prices), and Admin (full create/edit/delete plus pricelist configuration).

Panel overview

Products appear in rows and each enabled pricelist occupies its own column. Navigate to Sales > Reporting > Product Pricelist Panel to open the view.

Using the panel

All price management happens directly in the panel. Follow these steps to get started.

  1. Open the Product Pricelist Panel

    Go to Sales > Reporting > Product Pricelist Panel. The table loads with all products and the pricelists that have been enabled for the panel. Only pricelists marked as visible in their configuration appear as columns.

  2. Edit a single price

    Double-click the cell at the intersection of a product row and a pricelist column. Type the new price and press Enter to save. To cancel, press Escape. The same action creates the rule if none exists yet.

  3. Identify zero prices

    Cells with a price value of 0 are coloured red. This makes it easy to spot products that are missing a meaningful price before they reach a customer order.

  4. Manage duplicate pricelist rules

    If a product has more than one rule in the same pricelist, the cell is highlighted in yellow. Click on it to open the list of duplicate rules and decide which ones to keep or remove.

  5. Bulk-select prices with CTRL + drag

    Hold CTRL and click-drag across multiple cells to build a selection. You can also hold CTRL and click individual cells to add or remove them from the selection one by one.

  6. Apply a new price to the entire selection

    With one or more cells selected, press Enter. A dialog appears where you type the new price. Confirm to update all selected cells at once.

  7. Filter and sort the product list

    Use the search bar to filter by product name, internal reference, or category. Use the sort controls to order the list by name, number of duplicate rules, or price to bring the most relevant products to the top.

Tip: clicking on a product name in any row opens the product form directly, so you can review or update product details without leaving the pricing workflow.

Configuration

Two areas require configuration before using the panel: selecting which pricelists appear as columns, and assigning the correct access level to each user.

Enable a pricelist in the panel

Go to Sales > Products > Pricelists and open the pricelist you want to display. Enable the Show in Pricelist Panel option and save. Only pricelists with this option enabled will appear as columns in the panel.

Pricelists configured with different currencies are fully supported. Each currency is shown with its symbol in the corresponding column header.

Assign user access levels

Go to Settings > Users & Companies > Users, open a user record, and set the Product Pricelist Panel permission under the Sales section. Three levels are available:

Access levels explained

User

Read-only access. Can open the panel and view all prices but cannot create, edit, or delete any price rule.

Editor

Can update existing price rules. Cannot create new rules for products that have no price yet or delete existing ones.

Admin

Full access: create, edit, and delete price rules, and configure which pricelists are visible in the panel.

Important: users without any Product Pricelist Panel permission assigned cannot access the panel menu item. Make sure to assign at least the User level to everyone who needs read-only visibility.
