Features
A practical privacy lifecycle for Odoo data
Turn your documented retention policy into a repeatable Odoo process, with guardrails around every destructive action.
POLICY
Model, filter and age
Choose any safe business model, an optional Odoo domain, a stored Date or Datetime field and an age in days, months or years.
ACTION
Three end-of-life paths
Archive records, permanently delete where appropriate, or retain operational records after personal fields are anonymized.
MASK
Field-level anonymization
Blank suitable values, create a deterministic irreversible hash, or replace names, email, phone and address data with stable built-in fake values.
DRY RUN
Preview without writes
Inspect the match count, sampled records and before/after anonymization values before a policy changes any record.
HOLD
Legal hold exclusions
Place a specific record on legal hold and every policy skips it. The execution log records how many held records were protected.
LOG
Every execution accounted for
Manual, dry-run and scheduled executions keep counts, outcome, skipped holds and useful per-record detail in one audit trail.
EXPORT
Subject access and erasure work
Generate a readable PDF and a workbook for a selected contact across configured personal-data fields, linked records and metadata.
SAFE
Destructive actions need intent
Delete and anonymize require explicit confirmation before Run Now or cron execution. Critical technical models are never selectable.

These real interface captures show configuration, a no-write preview, traceable execution and a subject-data export at a readable scale.
01 · POLICY
Choose the model, age field, domain, action and confirmation safeguards in one policy form.
02 · PREVIEW
Review matching records, legal-hold exclusions and the sample before/after field transformations without changing data.
03 · EXECUTION LOG
Keep evidence of each manual, dry-run and cron execution, including actions, errors and skipped legal holds.
04 · SUBJECT EXPORT
Prepare a GDPR Art. 15 / 17 export for a contact and download the PDF or XLSX result.
Setup
Start safely in three steps
1
Install and assign a GDPR Manager
Install from Apps, then give a trusted administrator the GDPR Manager role. No third-party service or tracking is required.
2
Create a policy and preview it
Select the data model and age rule, add a narrow domain, define anonymization fields where needed, then use Preview to validate the outcome first.
3
Confirm, run and monitor
Explicitly confirm destructive work, Run Now for a controlled first execution, then let the shared schedule run active confirmed policies and review its logs.

FAQ
Common questions
Does it work on Odoo Online?
No. Like all third-party Apps Store modules, it runs on an on-premise Odoo server or Odoo.sh, not Odoo Online.
Can a policy touch every Odoo model?
No. The policy selector blocks critical technical and security-sensitive models. Use a narrow domain and the Preview action before enabling a policy.
What makes a hash safe to use?
Hashes are deterministic and irreversible, keyed with a database-specific salt. They are useful when you need stable de-duplication without retaining the original value.
Do fake values require an external service?
No. The module ships a small built-in deterministic generator for plausible names, email addresses, phone numbers and street addresses. No data leaves your database.
Can I exclude a record for litigation or an investigation?
Yes. Add a legal hold for the model and record. Archive, deletion and anonymization policies all skip it, and the skipped count is retained in the log.
Is this legal advice?
No. The app implements the policy you define; your legal and data-protection advisers should determine the applicable retention periods and lawful process.
Support
Privacy work deserves a direct line
For setup questions or an issue, include your Odoo version, module version and the relevant execution log. We respond within 1 business day.
tip
Keep the evidence close
A policy preview and its execution log are the fastest way to explain exactly what happened.
