BPMN Workflow for Quality Points
Attach a full BPMN 2.0 diagram to each Quality Control Point. Edit in the same powerful modeler (Token Simulation, Color Coding, Append Elements, Upload, Zoom), and download as .bpmn or .svg directly from the quality point form — no need to open the BPMN app. One diagram per control point, always in context.

This module extends Odoo Quality Control Points with BPMN. Each control point can have one linked BPMN diagram.
BPMN on Control Point
Link one BPMN diagram per quality control point. Create on first use or attach an existing diagram.
Edit BPMN
Open the full BPMN modeler from the quality point header (opens in a new tab). Design, simulate, and save.
Download from Form
Download .BPMN and Download SVG on the quality point form. Export as XML or image without leaving the record.

How to Get Started
- Install BPMN Workflow Designer and BPMN Workflow for Quality Point from your Odoo Apps menu.
- Go to Quality Control -> Control Points and open or create a record.
- In the quality point form header, click Edit BPMN. The first time, a new diagram is created and linked to the record (opens in a new tab).
- Design your inspection process in the modeler — drag-and-drop, context pad, colors, comments — then save.
- From the quality point form, use Download .BPMN or Download SVG to export the diagram without opening the modeler.

Inspection Flowcharts
Keep a visual inspection flowchart attached to each quality point. Inspectors see the exact steps at a glance; download as SVG for documentation.
Non-Conformance Handling
Model non-conformance and escalation paths. Edit the diagram from the quality point, run token simulation to validate, then export for stakeholders.
Manufacturing Inspections
Diagram stages and h-checks for manufacturing steps. Color-code critical checkpoints and use the quality-level download to share with the floor team.
ISO Compliance
Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) in a BPMN linked to quality points. One diagram per point keeps context clear and audit-ready.

Easy Setup & Configuration
Configuration is done securely from standard Odoo Settings. Open the user profile and assign the BPMN Designer privilege to let them create and edit diagrams.
Token Simulation

BPMN on Quality Control Point
Each quality point can have a linked BPMN diagram. View the linked diagram directly on the form view.

Append Elements

Click the Upload button in the modeler toolbar and select any standard .bpmn file. The diagram is rendered instantly with full edit capabilities and auto-saved to Odoo.
Download as BPMN & SVG
Export your diagram in two formats from the toolbar or from the quality point form: a fully compliant .bpmn XML file or a crisp scalable .svg vector image — both available with a single click.
Zoom Controls & Undo/Redo History
Navigate large, multi-lane BPMN diagrams with step-zoom controls, or use Fit-to-Viewport to instantly center the entire diagram on screen. Standard Undo (Ctrl+Z) and Redo (Ctrl+Shift+Z) history options are right next to the zoom controls.
Element Color Coding
Select any element and use the color picker to apply custom fill or stroke colors. Colors are persisted in the BPMN XML and visible to all users.
Real-Time Collaborative Comments
Attach threaded comments to individual BPMN task nodes to discuss processes with your team. Multi-user collaboration is instantly synced across all active sessions using Odoo's Bus Service.
