Stock Consumption Report
A period PDF showing what left your warehouse: delivered to customers, consumed in manufacturing, scrapped, lost on inventory adjustment, or sent in transit. By product, by category, with value totals.
Stock Adjustment Report
Every overage and shortage from physical counts over a period, with the value impact in red or green. Net impact at the foot. The trail your CFO asks for after the year-end count.

Why this exists
Every SME retailer, distributor, and pharma chain ends the month the same way. The store manager runs a physical count. The numbers get signed and filed. The accountant ties the closing to the books. The owner or franchisor wants the signed statement. Standard Odoo has no Stock Closing artefact built in, and the Inventory Variation menu is, in Odoo's own words, “intentionally a high-level summary”. This module prints the three artefacts your team actually files — with branded letterhead and signature lines — from one wizard.

FAQ
Does the Closing Statement match my on-hand stock?
Yes — the closing quantity is computed from every completed stock move up to your chosen as-of date, with the standard cost applied for value. If your as-of date is today, the closing quantity equals the on-hand quantity in your Inventory app.
What counts as "consumption" on the Consumption Report?
Every outbound move from your warehouse: deliveries to customers, consumption in manufacturing orders, scraps, internal transfers to transit locations, and inventory-adjustment losses. Each shows in its own column.
How are overage and shortage computed?
Overage is when your physical count finds more than expected (system < counted). Shortage is the opposite (system > counted). The Adjustment Report shows the signed quantity per adjustment, the unit cost, and the value impact.
Multi-warehouse and multi-company?
Yes. Pick one or more warehouses, one or more internal locations, or scope to specific categories or products. Each company sees only its own stock.
