Simply select purity and enter gold weight to calculate sale prices instantly across products, sales orders and purchase orders. Wastage pricing is included directly within the pricing logic, ensuring transparent and accurate costing.
Gold wastage weight and wastage amount are calculated automatically in every sales and purchase line, providing clear margin visibility and consistent valuation. Gold prices are fetched automatically via API using a scheduled action. Purity-wise prices are added or updated automatically across supported international currencies, removing the need for manual daily gold rate updates and ensuring accurate, API-driven pricing aligned with market rates.
Auto Sale Price Calculation Based on Purity Price & Weight New
When purity and gold weight are selected, the system instantly calculates the product sale price using the latest purity-based gold price. This ensures fast, consistent, and error-free pricing during product creation and sales.
Gold wastage weight & Amount calculation New
Gold wastage is automatically calculated in both sales order lines and purchase order lines. Based on purity and weight, the system computes:
- Wastage weight
- Wastage amount
This provides transparent costing and accurate valuation without any manual calculations.
Scheduled Action for Price Updates New
A background scheduled action runs automatically to sync purity-wise gold prices from the API. Prices are maintained consistently across products, sales, and purchases without user intervention.
Important Note – API Usage
The gold price API integration operates on a limited plan that allows up to 100 requests per month. Once this limit is exceeded, the API switches to a paid plan, and additional charges may apply as per the API provider’s pricing.
It is recommended to configure the scheduled action frequency carefully to avoid unnecessary requests and control operational costs.

Under Inventory → Products → Products, you can create and manage Gold Products by entering details such as product name, category, gold purity, weight, and other attributes.

PURCHASE AND BILL
Purchase Order
- Under Purchase → Orders → Requests for Quotation, we can create a Gold Purchase Order by selecting the vendor and product.
- Labour Charge is automatically calculated as Product Weight × Making Charge per gram.
- Wastage Weight is automatically calculated as:
Product Weight (gm) × Gold Wastage (%) ÷ 100 - Wastage Amount is calculated as:
Wastage Weight × Carat Rate - The Unit Price is calculated based on Product Cost Price.
- The Subtotal is derived by adding Unit Price + Labour Charge + Wastage Amount
- The Untaxed Amount is the total of all Subtotals before tax.
- Applicable taxes (e.g., 15%) are then added to compute the final total.
- Once verified, you can confirm the RFQ to generate the Purchase Order.
After clicking the Receive Products button, the items are marked as received and automatically reflected in Inventory.
Bill Generation
Once received, you can click the Upload Bill button - when the bill is uploaded, a Draft Bill is automatically created for that particular Purchase Order.

- When you click the Confirm button, the Quotation is converted into a Sales Order.
Delivery order validation – After confirming a purchase or sales order, a delivery order is automatically created. You can review the details of the delivery order and validate it to mark the items as delivered in the inventory.
Invoice Generation –
Invoice Management – When the Create Invoice button is clicked, a draft invoice is generated for the particular sale order. Clicking Confirm validates the invoice, and then the Pay button allows the invoice to be paid.
