EU - Margin VAT — Sale bridge
Generic bridge between l10n_eu_margin_vat and sale. Auto-installed as soon as both modules are present, regardless of country.
What it does
- Adds the margin purchase price and lot fields on sale order lines.
- Pre-fills the purchase price from the product cost or the lot's recorded purchase price.
- Injects the purchase price into the tax base_line so the VAT engine computes VAT on the margin only (margin = selling TTC − purchase price).
- Propagates the purchase price and lot from the sale line to the invoice line on _create_invoices.
- Hides margin VAT from customer-facing tax totals (HT = TTC, tax_amount = 0) on the quotation, mirroring the existing account.move behaviour.
- Hides the margin VAT label and shows TTC (instead of subtotal) in the per-line "Amount" cell on the customer portal, the quotation PDF and the invoice PDF.
- Adds an auto-translated legal mention (FR/BE/DE/ES/IT/LU/NL/PT/AT) at the bottom of the quotation/invoice when at least one line carries margin VAT.
Country-specific reporting and FR-specific features (margin forecast KPI, threshold approval workflow, multi-DN mapping) remain in their own modules.
