What this module does
The Fixed Asset Register adds a complete period-based roll-forward schedule to Odoo Accounting, grouped by asset category. For any fiscal year or custom date range, it computes opening values, additions, disposals, accumulated depreciation, write-offs, and net book values directly from your existing asset and depreciation data.
Before this module, accountants had to export asset data and rebuild the register manually in spreadsheets each period. Now the report is generated on demand in seconds, with posted or draft depreciation, and exported to PDF or Excel with a single click.

Every standard register column in one view: Opening Value, Increases, Decreases, Gross Book Value, Sales, Profit/Loss on Disposal, Accumulated Depreciation (prior years and current), Write-off, Total Depreciation, and Net Book Value. |

Fiscal Year Selector
Pick a fiscal year and the date range fills automatically from your company settings. Both dates remain editable for a custom reporting period. Switch between posted-only and all (including draft) depreciation basis. |

Print a formatted PDF with category sections and subtotals, or export to Excel with frozen headers, category grouping rows, subtotals, and a grand-total row. Amounts respect your company currency precision. |

📈 On-Screen Pivot View
Switch to a pivot view to slice GBV, Total Depreciation, and NBV across any combination of categories. All measures use Odoo's standard aggregation. |

Disposals within the period show correct decreases, write-off of accumulated depreciation, sale proceeds, and profit or loss from disposal in a single row alongside the asset's depreciation history. |

Open the register
Go to Accounting > Reporting > Fixed Asset Register. A wizard opens. |

Choose your period and basis
Select your fiscal year (or enter a custom date range). Optionally filter by asset category and choose Posted only or All (including draft) depreciation. |

View, print, or export
Click View to open the on-screen register grouped by category, click Print PDF for an auditor-ready printout, or click Export XLSX to download the Excel file. |
