Suppliers deliver on different dates, but Odoo creates one receipt for the whole order.
Receipt Schedule
What this module does
Receipt Schedule lets you split any purchase order line into multiple deliveries on different dates. Click the clock icon on a PO line, enter your planned receipt dates and quantities, and Odoo automatically creates one separate receipt per date when the order is confirmed.
Before this module, teams had to manually split orders, create draft receipts, or rely on backorders after the fact. Receipt Schedule handles the planning upfront so your warehouse team gets clean, separate receipts with the right date and quantity from day one.
|
📅
Plan Before Confirming
Click the clock icon on any PO line and enter receipt dates with quantities before confirming the order. The total scheduled must equal the ordered quantity. |
📦
Auto-Created Receipts
On PO confirmation, one receipt is automatically created for each scheduled date with the correct product and quantity. No manual splitting needed. |
📋
Live Status Tracking
Every schedule entry shows its status: Scheduled, Ready, Done, or Cancelled. View all entries on the Receipt Schedule tab of the PO form. |
|
📈 Qty Columns on PO Lines
Scheduled Qty and Remaining Qty columns appear directly on the PO line list so you can see coverage at a glance without opening the schedule dialog. |
📍 Reporting and Calendar View
A dedicated Receipt Schedules menu under Purchase Reporting shows all scheduled entries with list and calendar views for planning and oversight. |
|
🔗 Standard Odoo Integration
Receipts created by the schedule are standard Odoo incoming shipments. Validate, backorder, or cancel them with the same tools your warehouse team already uses. |
✅ Unscheduled Lines Unaffected
PO lines without a receipt schedule continue to follow the standard single-receipt flow. Adopt the feature gradually without changing your existing process. |
How it works
| 1 | Create a purchase order and add products as usual. |
| 2 | Click the clock icon on any storable product line to open the schedule dialog. |
| 3 | Enter a date and quantity for each planned receipt. Add as many rows as needed. |
| 4 | Confirm the purchase order. Odoo creates one receipt per scheduled date automatically. |
| 5 | Track receipt status from the Receipt Schedule tab on the PO form or from Purchase Reporting. |
