Fine-Grained Access Control

Access to Mailcow features is strictly controlled via the Mailcow Manager group. Only managers can configure API credentials, trigger sync jobs, or modify mail infrastructure.

From the user form in Odoo, managers can also create a mailbox with one click using the "Create Mailcow Mailbox" button directly in the user profile. The system automatically links the Odoo user to a new mailbox with generated credentials and synced configuration.

Configure Mailcow API URL and access key directly in Odoo settings. A one-click test button lets you verify the connection instantly.

Domain Overview

Get a quick overview of all configured domains. You can create, edit, or delete domains all synced with Mailcow in real time.

The domain form includes configuration for domain name, active state, tags, and anti-spam policy settings like whitelist/blacklist handling fully editable inside Odoo.

Mailbox Management

View all mailboxes connected to your domains. Each mailbox shows username, quota, active status and can be edited or deleted instantly.

The mailbox form includes password settings, quota, active state, alias linkage, and IMAP sync settings. It allows full customization inside Odoo.

Smart Mailbox Creation

Create mailboxes directly from an Odoo user. Mailcow Connector suggests address, generates password, and links the mailbox to the user. With one click, it also configures the incoming and outgoing mail servers for that user automatically.

Alias Overview

List of all aliases including wildcard and temporary aliases. The system supports filtering by mailbox or domain, and provides real-time sync with Mailcow.

Create new aliases with optional expiration dates. Useful for temporary routing, catch-alls, or forwarding setups.
