Installation & Usage

Installation

Add to AddonsCopy odnt_invoice_xls_pro to your custom addons directory.

Restart ServerRestart your Odoo server to register the new module.

Enable Developer ModeSettings → General Settings → Activate Developer Mode.

Install ModuleApps → Update Apps List → Search Invoice XLS Pro → Install.
Usage
  • Open any Invoice or Vendor Bill and click the Export XLS smart button
  • Or select multiple documents from the list view → Action → Export to Excel
  • Choose which sheets to include (Summary, Lines, Tax, Payments, Analytics)
  • Toggle product image embedding on or off
  • Click Export to Excel and download the .xlsx file

Installation

  1. Copy the odnt_invoice_xls_pro folder into your Odoo custom addons directory.
  2. Restart the Odoo server.
  3. Activate Developer Mode from Settings > General Settings.
  4. Navigate to Apps and click Update Apps List.
  5. Search for Invoice XLS Pro and click Install.

Usage

Single Invoice Export:

  1. Open any Customer Invoice, Vendor Bill, or Credit Note.
  2. Click the Export XLS smart button (top-right button box area).
  3. Configure which sheets to include.
  4. Click Export to Excel and download.

Bulk Export:

  1. Open the Invoices or Vendor Bills list view.
  2. Select one or more documents using the checkboxes.
  3. Click Action → Export to Excel.
  4. Configure export options and download.

Sheet Overview

Sheet 1 — Invoice Summary
Company logo, invoice number, type, date, due date, payment status (colour-coded), partner information (name, email, phone, VAT, address), accounting date, payment terms, fiscal position, currency, responsible user, and full amount summary block with outstanding amount highlighted.
Sheet 2 — Invoice Lines
Product thumbnails (embedded), internal reference, product name, description, account, analytic account, quantity, UoM, unit price, discount, applied taxes, subtotal, tax amount, and line total.
Sheet 3 — Tax Breakdown
Per-tax detail: tax name, tax group, base amount, tax amount, rate. Tax group summary: grouped totals per group. Grand total block: untaxed, total tax, and grand total.
Sheet 4 — Payment History
Payment status overview (total, paid, outstanding). Overdue alert row with days overdue count. Payment transactions: date, journal, reference, amount, currency, status.
Sheet 5 — Analytics
Line-level qty, unit price, total and % of invoice. Highest value and highest qty lines. Account distribution: lines count and total per GL account.

Payment Status Colours

  • Green — Paid in full
  • Orange — Partially paid
  • Blue — Posted / awaiting payment
  • Red (bright) — Overdue (past due date with outstanding balance)
  • Grey — Draft
