Is SmartStock AI a one-time purchase or a subscription?
SmartStock AI is a one-time purchase. You pay once and own the module permanently — no monthly fees, no annual renewals, and no per-execution credits that need to be topped up. Use it as often as you need with no additional cost to Atharva System.
Do I need to pay for AI usage separately?
Yes — AI queries are processed through your own OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude), or Google (Gemini) API account. You pay those providers directly at their standard published rates. Atharva System adds zero markup on AI usage. For most inventory operations, AI API costs are very low — typically a few cents per complex query.
Can I use SmartStock AI on multiple Odoo databases?
The licence covers a single Odoo database. If you need to deploy SmartStock AI across multiple databases or instances, please contact support@atharvasystem.com to discuss multi-licence pricing.
How long does setup take?
Most users are fully configured within 30 minutes. Install the module through the Odoo Apps interface, assign user roles, enter your AI API key in the configuration screen, sync available models, and enable the features your team needs. The Atharva AI Base module installs automatically as a dependency.
Which Odoo editions and deployment types are supported?
SmartStock AI is compatible with both Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise, version 19.0. It is available for Odoo Online, Odoo.sh, and On-Premise deployments.
Which AI models are supported?
SmartStock AI supports any model available on your connected API key. The Sync Models button in the configuration screen loads all models currently available for your key in real time. This includes GPT-4o and GPT-4 Turbo (OpenAI), Claude 3.5 Sonnet and newer releases (Anthropic), and Gemini 1.5 Pro and others (Google).
Will SmartStock AI work alongside my existing Odoo customisations?
SmartStock AI extends standard Odoo inventory, purchase, and accounting modules without modifying core Odoo models — it adds new menus, models, and automations on top. In most cases it works alongside standard customisations. If you have heavily customised inventory workflows, contact support@atharvasystem.com before purchase to discuss compatibility
Can the AI assistant actually create purchase orders in Odoo?
Yes — but only after your explicit approval. When you ask the assistant to generate a replenishment order, it creates a proposal for you to review. You confirm the details and approve the action, and only then is the purchase order created in Odoo. AI is always under human control.
Can I upload spreadsheets or files to the assistant?
Yes. The assistant is attachment-aware. You can upload CSV, Excel, PDF, and plain text files directly into the chat. This is useful for bulk product queries, importing replenishment requests from external sources, or analysing data that exists outside Odoo.
Does SmartStock AI support multiple warehouses?
Yes. Replenishment suggestions, fulfillment split proposals, route optimisation, and stock risk alerts all support multi-warehouse configurations. You can generate suggestions per warehouse or across all warehouses simultaneously.
What is scan anomaly detection?
Scan anomaly detection monitors your Odoo inventory moves for unusual patterns — for example, quantities that exceed expected values, the same product being received and immediately scrapped, or scan sequences that suggest data entry errors. The system runs daily pattern checks and produces a weekly anomaly review report for manager review.
Does Atharva System have access to my inventory data?
No. Your inventory data is sent directly from your Odoo instance to your chosen AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) under your own API account. Atharva System does not receive, store, or process your inventory data on any Atharva-controlled infrastructure.
Is SmartStock AI suitable for GDPR-compliant European businesses?
SmartStock AI is designed to support GDPR-compliant deployments. No personal data is sent to Atharva System. Data sent to AI providers is governed by the data processing terms of your agreement with that provider. For EU businesses, we recommend reviewing your AI provider's GDPR data processing addendum. The module's audit log also supports GDPR accountability requirements.
What support is included and what are the response times?
Your purchase includes access to Atharva System's support team via support@atharvasystem.com. Support covers installation issues, configuration questions, and bug reports. Updates for Odoo 19.0 are provided to all licence holders, including bug fixes and compatibility updates for minor Odoo releases.
