Installation
Install this module to enable the Odoo CRM Social Media Lead Form Dashboard App feature for your business.
Configuration
- This module is a Dashboard Add-On It does not show any configuration or menus by itself.
- To enable the dashboard features and access configuration
settings,
you must first install one or both of the following modules: - CRM Facebook Lead Integration
- CRM Instagram Lead Integration
1. Facebook Lead Integration Configuration:
- Facebook App ID & Secret
Go to CRM → Settings and paste your Facebook App ID and App Secret provided by Meta. These credentials are required to connect your Odoo system with Facebook. - Activate Facebook Access for User
Navigate to Settings → Users, open the user profile, and enable the Facebook permissions shown in the highlighted field. - Social Dashboard Access
Go to Social Dashboard from the main menu to manage connected social accounts. - Link Facebook Account
Click on Facebook Accounts → Link Account. A popup wizard will appear where you can enter your Facebook credentials to authorize access. - Select Facebook Page
After authentication, Meta will display a list of Facebook Pages you manage. Choose the page you want to connect and proceed. - Confirm Authentication
Once the page is selected, click Save, then confirm by clicking Got it on the confirmation screen. - Confirmation Message
After successful authentication, a confirmation message will appear on the screen. This indicates your Facebook account is securely linked with Odoo. - Auto-Fetched Page Details
Go to Social Dashboard → Configuration → Facebook Pages. Details like Page Name, Media Type, Facebook Page ID, Access Token will be fetched automatically.
2. Instagram Lead Integration Configuration:
- Enable Instagram Account and add credentials
Go to CRM → Settings and check the boolean for Instagram Account. Paste your Instagram App ID and App Secret. - Open Social Dashboard
Navigate to the Social Dashboard menu from the main Odoo interface. - Link Instagram Account
Click on Instagram Dashboard. To authenticate, click the Link Account button and enter your Instagram credentials. - Select Instagram Page
After entering credentials, select one or more Instagram pages to link and click Done. - Confirm Authentication
You will be redirected to a confirmation page. Click OK to complete the authentication process. - Confirmation Message
A success message will appear, confirming your Instagram account is linked with Odoo. - Access Instagram Page Details
Go to Social Dashboard → Configuration → Instagram Pages to view details like Page Name, Social Media, Media Type, Instagram Page ID, Access Token. - Create or Manage Instagram Pages
Go to CRM → Configuration → Instagram Pages, click Create, and select the existing page. - Fetch Lead Forms
Click the Fetch Form button. All associated lead forms will be loaded into Odoo. - Map Lead Fields
Go to CRM → Configuration → Instagram Forms, open the form, and click Get Fields to fetch Instagram fields. Map them with Odoo fields.

1. Facebook Integration Workflow
- Fetch Leads Manually
To manually pull leads from Facebook into Odoo, navigate to Settings → Technical → Scheduled Actions. Locate the “Fetch Facebook Leads” scheduled action (Cron), open it, and click on Run Manually. This will instantly import the latest leads from the connected Facebook page.
- Lead Creation in Odoo
Once the lead is fetched from Facebook, it is automatically created in Odoo with all mapped and unmapped fields, along with complete tracking information such as the source page and form details.
2. Instagram Lead Integration Workflow
- Lead Creation
Leads will be fetched into Odoo with the respective mapped fields. Each lead is created with both mapped and unmapped fields, along with complete tracking information. For more detailed information about Instagram integration, refer to the “Instagram Info” page.
