Manufacturing Cost Journal Entries with Analytic Tracking | Production Accounting with Analytic Accounts

This module brings analytic accounting into Odoo Manufacturing by allowing analytic accounts or analytic distributions to be set on a manufacturing order and automatically applied to all related production journal entries. It supports both a global mode, where one analytic is used for the entire order, and a per line mode, where each component or product can have its own analytic values. The selected analytic account or analytic distribution is automatically transferred to the generated journal items for raw materials, finished products, and by products during production validation.

This module extends Odoo standard inventory accounting flow to pass the Analytic Account and Analytic Distribution to inventory valuation journal entries generated from Manufacturing Orders (MO). When a production order is completed and products are produced, Odoo creates inventory valuation journal entries for the related stock moves (consumption of raw materials and receipt of finished goods). With the correct inventory valuation configuration in place, Odoo generates these accounting entries as per standard behavior, and this module automatically applies the relevant analytic account and analytic distribution on the journal lines for all stock pickings related to MRP operations. This ensures that manufacturing-related inventory movements are properly reflected in analytic reporting and job/project costing, without altering Odoo core valuation logic.
