Preventive maintenance is used for planned servicing before failure happens, while recurrent maintenance repeats that service on a fixed schedule such as every week forever.

Well Task Equipment

Review Equipment from the Well Task

Open linked equipment from the task smart button, review assigned assets in the Equipment tab, and jump directly to the full equipment record using the View action.

No. It extends Odoo Maintenance with oil and gas equipment fields, dedicated menus, and task or project linkage while keeping the standard maintenance workflow.

When should corrective, preventive, and recurrent maintenance be used?

Use corrective maintenance after a fault occurs, preventive maintenance for planned servicing before failure, and recurrent maintenance when that preventive service must repeat on a scheduled cycle.

Where do users access linked equipment?

Users can access linked equipment from project and task smart buttons and from the Equipment notebook page on oil and gas well tasks.

Can a task open the real equipment record?

Yes. Task-linked equipment lines include a direct View action that opens the full maintenance equipment record.
