Real Time PoS Stock Tracking
The POS Stock Tracking module enhances Odoo POS by displaying product quantities on product cards with detailed tracking for variants and lot/serial numbers. It provides customizable stock thresholds (global and product-specific) to trigger alerts or restrict actions for low stock levels. The module also offers options to hide out-of-stock products or allow POS orders for them, ensuring flexible and efficient inventory management.

Key Features
Display Product Quantities on Product
- Display the total available quantity for each product on the product card.
- For products tracked by lot or serial numbers, show the available quantities for each specific lot or serial number.
- Provide a detailed breakdown of available quantities for each product variant.
- If product variants are tracked by lot or serial numbers, display each variant's quantities categorized by their respective lot or serial numbers.
Low Stock Alert / Deny Adding Products
- Configure the system to trigger alerts or deny adding products to the cart when stock falls below the defined threshold.
- Set a universal stock level threshold for all products.
- Customize stock thresholds for individual products, overriding the global threshold.
Hide Out-of-Stock Products
- This feature improves the Point of Sale (POS) user experience by hiding products that are out of stock.
Allow POS Orders for Out-of-Stock Products
- When this configuration is enabled, you can add out-of-stock products to orders. If disabled, out-of-stock products cannot be added to the order.
