Fully integrate Odoo Point of Sale with the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA). Fiscalize POS orders via the cloud API or a local PRA Software Fiscal Device (works offline), store the PRA Invoice Number, and print a QR code on every receipt.

Two fiscalization modes — pick the one that fits your branch
Every branch is different. Some have stable internet, others don't. This module supports both — choose per POS config.
OPTION B — CLOUD
Server-side Cloud API
- Odoo server posts each invoice to PRA's cloud endpoint.
- Works with auto-sync on payment, scheduled cron, or manual button.
- Ideal for branches with stable internet.
- No software installed on the cashier PC.
OPTION A — OFFLINE
Local PRA Software Fiscal Device
- POS browser calls the PRA fiscal device on localhost — works even when PRA's cloud is down.
- Fiscal number issued instantly at the till — no round-trip to Odoo server.
- Device stores invoices locally and syncs to PRA on its own schedule.
- Offline orders are auto-audited when they sync back to Odoo.
Key Features
Offline Fiscalization
Local PRA Software Fiscal Device issues the fiscal invoice number on the cashier's PC — no internet needed. Orders queued offline are auto-audited on sync.
Auto / Scheduled / Manual Sync
Cloud mode syncs on payment automatically, via a configurable cron job, or with a one-click manual button from the order form or list.
Receipt QR Code
PRA Invoice Number and QR code print on every POS receipt. QR is generated client-side in the browser — prints even without internet.
Full Audit Trail
Every PRA request and response is logged with timestamps, sent data, response code, invoice number, and QR — fully readonly for compliance.
Refund / Credit Note Support
POS refunds are automatically filed as PRA Credit invoices with the correct RefUSIN linking back to the original sale.
PRA Status Tracking
Each order shows a clear PRA Status (Synced / Not Synced / Not Applicable) with a re-sync cutoff window to prevent late filings.
Discount & Loyalty Handling
Discount products are auto-detected and excluded from PRA line items. Loyalty program discounts are calculated and reported in the PRA Discount field accurately.
Per-Payment Method Control
Mark which payment methods require PRA filing. Configure PRA Payment Type (Cash / Card / Online) per method. Split-tender orders are handled automatically.
Configuration
Set up each POS with its own PRA credentials and choose cloud or local-device mode.
- Go to Point of Sale → Configuration → Point of Sale.
- Open your POS config and enable Enable PRA.
- Select environment (Testing or Production) and fill in API URL, API Key, POS ID, and Access Code.
- Cloud mode (Option B): Enable Enable PRA Sync for auto cron sync, or use the manual sync button on orders.
- Local device mode (Option A): Check Use Local Fiscal Device (Offline) and set the Local Fiscal Device URL (default
localhost:8524). The POS browser handles fiscalization directly. - On Payment Methods, tick PRA Payment Method for each method that requires PRA fiscal invoicing, and select the PRA Payment Type (Cash / Card / Online).
Note: All PRA fields and actions are visible only to members of the PRA Users security group.
