Processing of cab picking task during reservation
Hotel reservations are enabled with pick up options with paid/unpaid categories. Paid pickups will further processed during invoicing along with hotel reservation.
Define various services offered as Amenities

Housekeeping supervisor can generate laundry requests choosing the room (reservation number) and select various clothing that requires laundry services. Hoteliers can issue laundry request for regular linen cleaning of all rooms. Laundry requests of guests automatically gets attached to hotel reservations and further processed for invoicing.
Manage Restaurant with floor setup, food categories, KOT and BOT
For those companies who doesn't opt for PoS module, Hotel management offers the functionality of creating restaurant with floor setup - table setup, food categories, specific bar and kitchens, etc. Capturing customer data with payment information are all integrated in the restaurant module of hotel management.

During reservations Hotel management app enables hoteliers to record the agent through which the reservation is bought in. Once reservation is processed, system auto calculates the commission and processes an invoice to create a libality for the agent.
Auto created House keeping tasks after every check out transaction
Hotel management app provides the functionality of auto created housekeeping requests to be allocated and processed by internal staff. After a successful check out by a customer system automatically creates housekeeping tasks. These tasks have to be mandatorily performed before a room becomes eligible for check-in. Time taken to tidy the room, utilities used, details of the operators, are all captured as part of KPA's in the housekeeping activities
Create and Manage Banquet halls with accomodation capacity
Hotel Management app provides an unique feature for banquet hall owners to create and configure one or more banquet halls and manage the operations. Banquet halls can be configured with specific seating capacity, deposits required to process bookings with food and other amenities
Manage bookings of Banquet halls with deposit functionality
Reservations of banquet halls with multiple stages can be made capturing the required details of period of usage, food, amenities and further the same will be processed for invoicing.

A quick checklist to make sure everything's in place.
1. QODBC Driver Requirement
- QODBC Driver with Read & Write access is required.
- Used to fetch and synchronize data between Odoo and QuickBooks Desktop.
- The QODBC license must be purchased from the official website.
2. QuickBooks Desktop Requirements
- The QuickBooks Company File must remain open during synchronization.
- The logged-in QuickBooks user must have Administrator (Admin) rights.
3. Flask Application Requirement
- The Flask application must be running during synchronization.
- If the Flask service stops, data synchronization will not function.
Connectivity Requirements for Odoo.sh
For Odoo.sh to successfully communicate with the Windows system (where QuickBooks Desktop and the Flask application are running), it must be reachable over the internet.
We provide two supported connectivity options:
Static Public IP for the Windows Computer
Best for Local SetupYour IT team needs to assign a fixed public internet address (Static Public IP) to the Windows machine running QuickBooks Desktop and the Flask application.
This allows Odoo.sh to securely connect to the local machine and synchronize data.
Move the Applications to a Cloud Platform
Easiest SetupHost QuickBooks Desktop and the Flask application on a cloud-based Windows server.
The cloud provider automatically provides a static public IP, simplifying setup and improving reliability when connecting with Odoo.sh.

Server Instance Configuration

Odoo Quickbooks Desktop Connector
Configuration
You can find QBD configuration in Settings -> Your Company -> Quickbooks Desktop Configuration.
Once you download this module you will see the configuration file in that folder. Follow stpes mention in that file and fill up all necessary information as specified in the documentation shared by Pragmatic Techsoft Pvt Ltd.
