Project Deadline Reminder
Helps project managers stay on top of project timelines by automatically creating activity reminders and sending email notifications before project deadlines are reached.
Key Features
- Per-project reminder window — configure reminder days per project; defaults to global Project setting
- Automatic activity creation — scheduled job creates chatter activities for overdue, due-today, and approaching project deadlines
- No duplicate reminders — existing activities are updated when deadlines change, not duplicated
- Optional email notifications — enable email reminders with a configurable or custom mail template
- Done projects excluded — reminders only fire for projects that are not in a done state

Usage
- Install the Project Deadline Reminder module.
- Go to Project → Configuration → Settings to set the default reminder days and optionally enable email reminders.
- Open a project, set an End Date, and adjust the Reminder Days field (set to 0 to disable reminders for that project).
- The scheduled action runs daily and creates chatter activities for all active projects whose deadlines fall within the reminder window.
- View and manage reminders in the Activities dashboard or directly in the chatter of each project.
