Sales Price Control – Product Pricelist introduces a robust approval workflow and strict price-control mechanism
for Odoo sales operations. It ensures that all pricelist updates pass through a defined approval process, prevents
unauthorized price changes on sale orders, and enforces date-based validation for price activation. With role-based
access, transparent pricing, and automated price calculation, this module brings accuracy, control, and accountability

Multi-Level Pricelist Approval Workflow -
Define a structured approval cycle with states: Draft → Submitted → Approved → Rejected → Cancelled. Only managers can approve or reject pricelists.

Effective Date Control -
Set mandatory effective dates to ensure pricelists activate only on or after an approved date. Sale orders can only use valid, active pricelists.

Role-Based Price Editing -
Restrict price modifications on sale order lines. Pricelist Officers cannot change prices; only Pricelist Managers can override prices.

Auto-Pricelist Assignment on Sale Orders-
Automatically selects the correct approved pricelist based on customer settings, company, and date validation.

Description
1. Grant Pricelist Officer role to allow creating and submitting pricelists.
2. Open the Pricelists menu to create a new pricelist.
3. Configure currency, effective date and product price rules; then submit.
4. Show the pricelist after submission Officer can’t approve or reject.
5. Grant Pricelist Manager role to enable approvals and price overrides.
6. Manager reviews and decides on the submitted pricelist.
7. approved state and traceability.
8. Demonstrate pricing transparency and Officer restrictions on order lines.
9. Only Managers can override Unit Price
