RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) is the required part of any business that sells the products online or offline. Nowadays almost every business provides return/replacement services. Unfortunately, odoo can not provide any kind of app to manage RMA. Our app will help you to manage RMA Orders in odoo. There is a facility in the apps for customers to create return/replace orders from the customer portal.

RMA Dashboard
Centralized dashboard to monitor and manage all Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) activities and statuses.
Navigate to the RMA Dashboard menu to get an overview of all return orders. Users can also apply filters with date ranges to view return orders based on date criteria.
The RMA Dashboard provides a centralized view of all RMA requests categorized by their states.
Users can view the top returning customers and products from the dashboard using different chart options.
Users can manage RMA by stages, monthly RMA trends, return reasons breakdowns and customer statisfaction ratios with the help of different charts from the dashboard.
Go to the RMA configuration menu.
This is the configuration for the RMA, just configure
the settings as per your requirements.

Reason for the return orders.
Create RMA for sale order by clicking on create RMA button.
(make sure the sale order, delivery and invoice are confirmed.)
By clicking on the create RMA button, it will open a wizard to select a full replacement or full return of the product update the product qty accordingly and click on confirm.
Also, customers can create RMA from the portal.
By clicking on the 'Return/Refund Replacement' button, this wizard will pop out, here customer has to enter the request type and quantity.
Customers can see the RMA request from the portal.
If a customer approves a return RMA, then it will create a return order for that product automatically.

Now the order is in 'Processing' stage.
Note:
The stage movement of the order is based on button clicks. It does not automatically change
stages after order validation.
Return invoices are also visible on the portal.
Create a replacement RMA from the portal.
When the RMA for replacing the product is confirmed, two operations will created. one for new product delivery and another for picking old products.
Once the delivery order is validated, the RMA stage will change to 'Processing'.
The RMA Stage is done after both delivery and picking are done.
Select RMA Execution based on Order Lines in the RMA settings to customize the return workflow.
Create an RMA from a Sales Order containing multiple order lines and observe how the workflow adapts according to the selected configuration.
Based on the configuration, the system will create separate RMA lines for each sales order line, enabling more granular return processing and tracking.
Users can view separate RMA lines created for each sales order line within the RMA order.
Portal users can also create RMAs for individual order lines by clicking the Return Whole Order button from the portal.
Clicking the Return Whole Order button will open a wizard where users can select the return type and quantity for each order line. Users can also apply changes globally to all lines using the Apply to All Lines option. Click Confirm to create RMAs for each order line.
Based on the portal users selection, the system will create separate RMAs for each order line.
In the RMA form view, users can see the selected return type and quantity for each order line.
Select RMA Execution based on Order in the RMA settings to customize the return workflow.
Create an RMA from a Sales Order with multiple order lines and observe how the workflow adapts according to the configuration
Based on this configuration, the system will create a single RMA for all sales order lines.
Users can view a single RMA created for the entire Sales Order, including all associated order lines.
Portal users can also create a single RMA for all order lines by clicking the Return Whole Order button from the portal, based on the configured settings.
Clicking the Return Whole Order button will open a wizard where users can select the return type and quantity for all order lines. Users can also apply changes globally using the Apply to All Lines option. Click Confirm to create a single RMA for all order lines.
Portal users can then view the single RMA created for the Sales Order along with all included order lines.
Select multiple Sales Orders from the tree view to create a consolidated RMA request.
Click on the 'Action' menu and select 'Create Multiple RMA' to initiate the process for the selected orders.
A wizard will appear where you can review the selected orders and specify return details.
A single RMA record will be generated linked to the multiple Sales Orders, streamlining the return process.

Configure a return deadline in the RMA settings to specify how many days a customer has to return a product.
A countdown timer is displayed on the backend RMA order, helping you track the remaining time for the return deadline.

Create an RMA from the Sales order.
By clicking the Create RMA button from the Sales Order, a wizard will open to add return details. In this wizard, users can use the RMA Preview button to review the RMA details before confirming the request.
If no quantity is added to the RMA lines, the system will display a validation error requesting the return quantity for the products. After adding the return quantity, click on the RMA Preview button to review the RMA details before confirmation.
The portal RMA Preview also displays all essential details, including product information, return reason, and quantities. To confirm the RMA, click the Back button from the preview and then click Confirm to create the RMA.
Customers can also view a comprehensive preview of their RMA request from the portal.
