OVERVIEW

Odoo POS provides only percentage based discounts, which makes it difficult to apply exact fixed amount discounts on bills. This limitation affects businesses that commonly offer flat value discounts (100 currency units off, 500 currency units off, etc.) at billing time. The POS Fixed Discount addon overcomes this by enabling users to apply a fixed discount amount directly on the total order.

Displays the Fixed Discount Product button on the POS screen when the feature is enabled from the backend.

Fixed Discount Popup allows entering a fixed discount amount and applying it.

Order line shows the fixed discount product added with a negative value and the total amount is recalculated accordingly.

POS receipt and invoice PDF correctly display the fixed discount amount as a negative value.


Payment line and journal entry in the backend show the fixed discount product with negative values for proper accounting tracking.
