1. Create Return Orders
Navigate to Return Orders menu and create a new return order. Select a customer and choose from the list of sale orders that have been delivered. The system validates that only delivered products can be returned, ensuring data integrity.

2. Select Products & Return Reason
Choose the delivered products you want to return and specify the return quantity. Each line item supports tracking the delivered quantity, remaining quantity to return, return reason, unit price, and taxes. The system calculates totals and tax amounts automatically.

3. Automatic Warehouse Field
When you select a sale order, the Warehouse field is automatically populated from the sale order. This ensures accurate warehouse tracking for returned products and simplifies the return processing workflow.

4. Confirm & Generate Return Picking
Click the Confirm button to approve the return order. The system automatically creates a return picking (incoming shipment) with all selected products and quantities. The workflow moves from Draft → In Progress → Ready to Return.

5. Automatic Done Status
When the return picking is validated (received at the warehouse), the return order status automatically transitions to Done. No manual status updates needed — the system handles this automatically based on the picking state.

A new Create Return button is available directly on confirmed sale orders. Clicking this button opens a new return order form with the sale order, customer, and warehouse automatically pre-filled — streamlining the return creation process.
