Product Sale History

Tracking product sale History is crucial for organizations to monitor their sales performance. This defines the value that your products have for you to produce and for your customers to use. This app offers multiple features that allow you to filter pricing history in various ways, providing a comprehensive view of your sales data.

  • Display the history of sale orders for individual products.
  • Configure the table to show a specified number of rows at once.
  • Dedicated sales order history tab inside product.
  • Include columns like Product Name, Quantity, Unit Price, Total Price, and Order Date.
  • Filter pricing history Data to display only confirm sales order data.
  • Filter pricing history Data to display only fully invoiced sale order data.
  • See all data fully invoiced as well as confirm sale order using both filter option

Configuration

Configuration 1

Our first step is to activate the feature for a specific user. To activate it go to Setting > User > Product sale history

Configuration 2

Now, go inside the sales module where you will see two fields as product item limit and Price history data.

Product item Limit: Here you can set how many rows of product history you want to show inside the tab.

Price History Data: Here you can select one radio button out of three which are

Quotation: After selecting this button only the product history of Quotation Order will be visible.

Sale Order: Here you will see all history of Sale order

Both: here you can see all history including Quotation Order and confirmed sale order.

Product history tab

After configuration, open your product, you will see a Sales product history tab after Accounting tab.

Now create a sales order for this product to see the impact on the Sales product history tab.

Sales Data Inside Tab

After successfully creating a sale order go to the Sales product history tab, now you will see the sales history of created Sale order. We have selected pricing history data as order confirmation that's why the confirmation sale order is showing here.

Sale order and Fully invoiced order

Now create an invoice > register payment of that sale order and create another sale order to test all pricing history tabs.

Pricing History data > Confirm Orders

In this scenario only the confirmed sale order will be displayed.

Pricing History data > Done

In this case all product history of fully invoiced sale order will display.

Pricing history data - Both

In this case all confirm sales order and fully invoiced data will display.
