User Mailbox
User mailbox module provide a feature to configure IMAP and SMTP gateway user wise. With the help of this feature user can send a mail throw users own configured mail id.

User-Specific Incoming & Outgoing Mail
Users can configure their own mail servers for sending and receiving emails. If no server is set, the system uses the company’s default.
Automatic Company-Level Fallback
If a user lacks a configured email server, emails will default to the company's standard settings, ensuring no messages are overlooked for both incoming and outgoing communications.
Default Mail Handling for Multiple Accounts
A user or company can set only one email address as default, from which all outgoing messages will be sent and replies will be directed back.

Centralized Mail Tracking
All incoming and outgoing emails are fully tracked within the Odoo chatter and linked to the respective records. This ensures clear communication history for CRM leads, sales orders, or any business document.
Seamless Reply Synchronization
Replies received from customers are automatically fetched by the configured incoming mail server. Messages are synced back to the original record, maintaining end-to-end communication flow.
User & Company Level Hierarchy
The system intelligently applies email configurations at the user level first, and if not available, defaults to the company-level mail server.This hierarchy guarantees uninterrupted mail flow without manual intervention.
Multi-Account Flexibility
Supports configuration of multiple incoming and outgoing mail accounts per user. Provides flexibility to manage different mail servers, while still enforcing a single default for consistency.
Custom Incoming & Outgoing Mail
Users can set up their own mail servers for email communication. If none is configured, the system defaults to the company's server.
Default Mail Handling
Only one email address can be designated as the default for sending all outgoing messages and receiving replies.

- Menuitem: Settings →Users & Companies → Users
- In user form two kind of configuration 1. Incoming E-mail Configuration. 2. Outgoing E-mail Configuration.
- With the help of this configuration user can configure multiple incoming & outgoing mail configuration.
Create and Send mail
- Create Message and send to customer then check email.
Check Mail
- Above is the example of CRM there is a button Send Message once the user will click on this button the email should go to their Gmail inbox from the configured email of the respective user. After the sending Message via mail check the email. See the mail which is come from the configured email of the respective user's.
Reply Through Mail
- Reply through mail then check incoming server.
- Above is the example of receiving the incoming mail server. After the receiving the reply from customer incoming mail server will automatically fetch email and login to system. So, with the help of this feature we can track and get the email from actual user's mail id.
Mail Server Default Email Configuration
In the mail server, there is a default feature that works as follows:
- Suppose a user has multiple outgoing mail servers configured. In that case, only the default one will be selected, and all outgoing emails will be sent using the email address set in that default server.
- If a user does not have their own outgoing mail server configured, then the system will use the company’s outgoing mail server. In this case, if the company has multiple email addresses, only the default email address will be used for sending emails.
- When a user sends an email, if no outgoing mail server is configured for that user, the system will automatically use the company’s default outgoing mail server
- All outgoing emails will be sent using this default email address.
- Any replies from the recipient will also return to the same default email address.
