Assign salespeople to individual POS order lines and print them on receipts to track sales performance and commissions.
The POS Salesperson module allows point of sale operators to assign salespeople to individual order lines directly from the POS interface. This is ideal for retail stores and restaurants that track staff performance or award commissions based on specific item sales. By selecting salespeople via a clean popup on selected items, the system updates the shopping cart display. The assigned salesperson's name is saved to backend databases and printed clearly next to the items on receipts, ensuring seamless operations.

Installation Guide
- 1 Extract Module: Unzip/Extract the downloaded module folder into your Odoo custom addons directory.
- 2 Restart Server: Restart your Odoo server service to load the new addon path.
- 3 Developer Mode: Log in to your Odoo database and activate the Developer Mode from the Settings dashboard.
- 4 Update Apps List: Go to the Odoo Apps app, click on "Update Apps List" menu, and click Update.

Install Module: Search for
vits_pos_salespersonorPOS Salespersonin the Apps, and click Activate. - 6 Configuration Settings: Go to Point of Sale -> Configuration -> Settings, enable "Allow Salesperson on Order Line", and click Save.
Enable Salesperson Feature
In POS Settings, enable the "Allow Salesperson on Order Line" option to activate salesperson assignment in your POS interface.
Salesperson Control Button
Click the "Salesperson" button in the bottom action bar when an order line is selected on the POS screen.
Select Salesperson Dialog
A clean selection popup allows you to select a staff member from active users or clear the assignment.
Cart Item Salesperson Tag
The assigned salesperson name displays under the respective order line items in the shopping cart.
Salesperson on POS Receipt
The printed and digital receipts display the salesperson's name next to the corresponding order lines.
Dynamic Salesperson Selector
A button dynamically displays on the POS product screen action bar to easily select or change salespeople.
Active User Synchronization
Automatically loads active, internal database users from res.users to be selectable as sales staff.
Clear Option in Dialog
Includes a dedicated "None (Clear)" option inside the modal to easily reset the salesperson field on any line.
Cart Line Tags
Displays salesperson details right below the item in the cart, updating in real time as selections change.
Global Config Settings Toggle
Toggle the feature availability easily via the Point of Sale settings page under Odoo configuration.
Inherited POS Receipt Design
Extends the receipt rendering system to list assigned salespeople next to products on printed receipts.
