Installation Guide
- Extract Module: Unzip/Extract the downloaded module folder into your Odoo custom addons directory.
- Restart Server: Restart your Odoo server service to load the new addon path.
- Developer Mode: Log in to your Odoo database and activate the Developer Mode from the Settings dashboard.
- Update Apps List: Go to the Odoo Apps app, click on "Update Apps List" menu, and click Update.

vits_shipping_restrictionorRestrict Shipping Methodin the Apps, and click Activate. - Configuration Settings: Go to Website -> Configuration -> Shipping Methods, select a carrier, and configure your restrictions under the "Shipping Restriction" tab.
1. Installed the App
Search and install the 'Restrict Shipping Method' app from Odoo App Store. Once activated, the restriction settings will be automatically integrated into your shipping carriers config.
2. List of Shipping Methods
Access standard Odoo Shipping Methods config. Select any carrier (e.g. Standard Delivery) to define shipping rules and parameters.
3. Full Shipping Restriction Settings
Open the new Shipping Restriction tab in the carrier form view to see settings grouped by Amount, Customer, Product, and Date options.
4. Apply Order Amount Restriction Settings
Set a minimum order total restriction rule (with net or gross price options) to hide specific delivery methods for low-value carts.
5. Delivery Method Hide on Website
On the eCommerce checkout page, the standard delivery option is automatically hidden from the shipping selection if the order total is below the configured threshold.
6. Apply Customer Restriction Rule
Configure target customer rules. Restrict delivery methods dynamically so that certain delivery carriers are hidden or shown only for specified customer accounts.
