Website Product Dimensions empowers Odoo users to sell and manage products requiring custom size inputs (such as glass, plywood, banners, or carpets) directly on their eCommerce store. Customers can easily input their required Height (Mt.) and Width (Mt.) to dynamically calculate the Area (M2) and unit price. The module seamlessly handles pricing calculations based on area or quantity in both front-end checkouts and backend sales/purchase flows, including automatic transfer of custom dimensions to Customer Invoices, Vendor Bills, and printed PDF quotation/bill documents.

Installation Guide
- 1 Extract Module: Unzip/Extract the downloaded module folder into your Odoo custom addons directory.
- 2 Restart Server: Restart your Odoo server service to load the new addon path.
- 3 Developer Mode: Log in to your Odoo database and activate the Developer Mode from the Settings dashboard.
- 4 Update Apps List: Go to the Odoo Apps app, click on "Update Apps List" menu, and click Update.

Install Module: Search for
vits_website_dimensionorWebsite Product Dimensionsin the Apps, and click Activate. - 6 Configuration Settings: Go to Sales -> Configuration -> Settings, enable "Enable Product Dimensions", select the desired price calculation option, and click Save.
1. Installed the App
Search for the "Website Product Dimensions" module in the Odoo App dashboard and activate it.
2. Configure settings (Based on Area)
Navigate to Sales Settings, enable custom dimensions, and set the pricing to "Price Calculation based on Dimension (M2)".
3. Enable required custom dimension option for product
Check the "Custom Dimension" option on target product templates to enable dimension calculator on eCommerce.
4. On product page set dimension and calculate price
Customers enter physical Height (Mt) and Width (Mt) to dynamically compute the total area and pricing.
5. Product add to cart with calculated amount
Product is added to the cart, automatically applying the area-based calculation to update the total unit price.
6. Cart page
The shopping cart lists the custom Height (Mt), Width (Mt), and calculated Area (M2) values transparently.
7. Order backend view
Backend Sales Order lines show physical Height, Width, and computed Area columns with correct subtotal computations.
8. Invoice
Customer Invoice lines copy the Height, Width, and Area parameters automatically with accurate tax base calculations.
9. Create purchase order with dimension options
Backend Purchase Orders support custom dimension inputs, calculating supplier pricing by Area (M2) base.
10. Create bills with dimension options
Vendor Bills display copied dimension values, ensuring consistency in purchase bills auditing.
11. Change setting in backend and set amount based on qty (Odoo default behaviour)
Toggle settings back to "Price Calculation based on Qty" to keep price independent of Area (M2).
12. Add a product in cart with actual amount (price calculated based on qty, not area)
Product page tracks Height and Width as information while price subtotal follows standard Quantity calculations.
13. Cart page
The shopping cart shows custom size fields for reference while calculations follow Odoo's default qty behavior.
14. Complete the order
Complete checkout on website, capturing custom dimension parameters in frontend orders.
15. Order backend view
Sales Order backend displays input dimensions for verification while pricing subtotal is qty-based.
16. Invoice
