Task Timer
This Statement of Work (SOW) covers the implementation of an enhanced task time-tracking capability within Odoo that allows users to easily start and stop timers directly from the task list view. By introducing a simple popup-based task selection and real-time timer visibility, the solution streamlines time tracking for daily work activities while keeping existing task processes unchanged. The enhancement improves accuracy, user adoption, and productivity by reducing manual effort, without affecting standard task workflows, approvals, or reporting structures already in place.

1. Install the Module
Go to the Odoo Apps menu and install the module.
2.User Can Start/Stop Task Timer
Users can start or stop task timers directly from the task list view using a dynamic
button displayed next to their profile on assigned tasks, with the button state
updating in real time.
3.user can select task from popup
After clicking Start Timer, a popup displays all assigned tasks, allowing the user
to start or stop individual tasks while ensuring only one task runs at a time.

The running timer is displayed next to the user profile with real-time updates,

All tracked time is seamlessly saved to Odooâs default timesheets with no change
to existing approval or reporting processes, while allowing users to control timers
directly from both Task List and Kanban views.
6.User can end task
When ending a task, a popup lets the user add a description, review time
details, and confirm the final duration before logging the time.
7.Automatic Updated in timesheet
Task time is automatically saved in Odoo Timesheets with accurate duration and
details.

1) Go to the Odoo Apps menu and install
the module
Then, navigate to Settings Users Access Rights
and ensure the appropriate permissions are enabled for "Purchase Terms &
Conditions."
2) Navigate to Purchase Configuration
Go to Purchase Configuration
Terms and
Conditions.
This section allows you to manage all templates specific to purchase operations.
3) Create a New Template
Click the Create button to add a new Terms
& Conditions template.
You will also see a list of all previously created templates here.
4) Fill in Template Details
Enter a Title, select the Company, and write your
Terms & Conditions in the text editor.
Click Save to finalize the template.
5) Go to Purchase Configuration

Navigate to Purchase Requests for Quotation
(RFQ) and click the Create
button to generate a new RFQ
or Purchase Order.
6) Select Terms on RFQ/Purchase Order Form
On the RFQ or Purchase Order details page, you will see a new tab titled
Terms and Conditions.
From here, select the desired template - the terms content will auto-fill
accordingly.
7) Terms in Print/PDF
Upon confirming the RFQ into a Purchase
Order, the selected Terms &
Conditions will be included in the printable
PDF.
8) Use in Vendor Bills
While creating or editing a Vendor Bill,
you will see the same
Terms and Conditions tab.
Choose the required template, and the terms will be printed on the final bill
document.
Yes, the same template can be reused, or you can define separate ones per document type.
Yes, terms will be visible in shared PDF documents for both.
Yes, templates are editable from the configuration menu and can be updated anytime.
