With this integration, customers can choose Alma at checkout, review a clear payment schedule, and complete transactions through a secure and guided process. On the backend, all payments are automatically recorded, tracked, and synchronized, giving you full visibility over transaction status, customer payments, and financial data. The app also supports key operations such as payment link generation, real-time transaction updates, and refund processing directly from invoices. This ensures that both customers and administrators experience a smooth, transparent, and efficient payment flow without manual intervention. Easy Payment Provider Configuration:
- Configure Alma directly from Odoo backend with API credentials.Enable or disable the provider as needed.
Installment Payment Support (BNPL):
- Customers can split payments into multiple installments with a clear payment schedule before confirmation.
Seamless Checkout Integration:
- Alma is displayed as a payment option during checkout, allowing customers to easily select it and complete their transactions smoothly.
Secure Payment Processing:
- Ensures encrypted and secure card transactions with verification steps like email code authentication.
Real-Time Transaction Tracking:
- All transactions are automatically recorded in Payment Transactions with status updates and detailed logs.

Alma Payment Provider Workflow
- Configure Alma Payment Provider under Website -> Configuration -> Payment Provider and add required API credentials.
- Enable Alma in Payment Methods to make it available at checkout.
- The customer selects a product and proceeds to checkout from the website.
- Alma appears as a payment option for installment-based payments.
- Customer views installment schedule with payment dates and amounts before confirming.
- Customer enters contact details and completes email verification for security.
- Customer confirms and completes the first installment payment.
- After successful payment, the system automatically creates a sales order.
- Payment Transactions store all transaction details, status, and Alma-specific data.
- Refunds can be processed directly from Payment Transactions or invoice, and all updates are reflected in Alma records.

Website -> Configuration -> Payment Providers
Here we can see the Alma Payment Provider listed under Payment Providers.
Alma Payment Provider Configuration
When we open the Alma Payment Provider, we can enter and configure the required API credentials here.
Enable Payment Method
Go to Payment Methods and enable the Alma option in settings to make it available at checkout.
Select Alma at Checkout
From the frontend, after selecting a product and proceeding to checkout, choose Alma as the payment method to complete the transaction.
Review Payment Schedule
This page displays the Alma payment schedule, allowing users to review installment dates and amounts. Click on "Validate these deadlines" to proceed.
Enter Contact Details
Enter the required contact details and click on Continue to proceed to the next step.
Email Verification
Enter the verification code received via email to continue the payment process.
Confirm Card Payment
Review the card details and click on "Pay" to complete the first installment payment.
Alternative Payment Option
If the installment payment is not available, proceed by clicking on "Pay now" to complete the payment.
Payment Confirmation
The payment is successfully confirmed.
Sales Order Creation
In the Sales Order, we can see that the order has been successfully created.
Payment Transactions Overview
In Payment Transactions, we can view the transaction details and payment status.
Alma Transaction Details Field
In Payment Transactions, an additional field is available in the dropdown to view Alma transaction details.
Alma Dashboard - Sales Section
In Alma, navigating to the Sales section displays the list of transactions, including those created from Odoo, along with their details.
View Validated Transaction
By opening a Validated transaction, we can view detailed payment information along with the payment history.
Access Refund from Invoice
In the invoice, click on the highlighted Payment Transaction to access payment details and proceed with Refund.
Refund Confirmation
Clicking on Refund opens a wizard displaying transaction details; click Refund to complete the process.
View Refund Details
After processing the refund, navigate to Payment Transactions and open the record to view the Alma refund details.
Refund Status in Alma
In Alma, we can see that the refund has been successfully processed and updated in the transaction details.
Create New Sales Order
A new order can be created from the Sales module.
Generate Payment Link
Navigate to the Action menu and select Generate a Payment Link to proceed.
Copy Payment Link
A wizard will open to generate the payment link; once generated, copy the link to proceed.
Complete Payment via Link
Open the copied link in a new tab; the payment page will appear where Alma can be selected as the payment method to complete the transaction.
