Documents Office Preview
Preview Word, Excel & PowerPoint files in the Documents module
Overview
This is a free bridge module that enables Office file preview in Odoo's Documents module. It connects the Office File Preview module with the Documents module, so you can preview Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files directly from the Documents workspace.
Key Features
- Click to Preview — Click any Office file in the Documents Kanban, List, or Activity view to open a preview popup.
- Auto Install — Automatically installed when both Office File Preview and Documents are present.
- Free — This bridge module is provided at no cost.
Requirements
- Office File Preview module (provides the core Office Online preview capability)
- Documents module (Odoo Enterprise)
- Your Odoo instance must be deployed on a publicly accessible server
