Key Highlights

Automatic Work Report Generation

Employees can generate and send daily work reports automatically when creating timesheets, reducing manual reporting effort.

Task Status Tracking

A new Status field allows employees to mark tasks as Completed or Ongoing, improving task visibility and progress tracking.

Configurable Report Recipients

By enabling Generate Work Report in settings, users can choose specific employees or managers who should receive the work reports.

Multiple Reporting Methods

Supports two report methods:

  • Task-based Report – Sends reports per task
  • Daily Report – Sends consolidated daily reports per employee

    • Enable Work Report Generation

    Go to Timesheet → Configuration → Settings, enable Generate Work Report, and select the Report Method (Task Report or Daily Report). You can also choose the employees who should receive the reports.

    Work Order Status in Timesheet List View

    Navigate to Timesheets → All Timesheets. You can view and update the task status (Completed / Ongoing) directly from the list view.

    Configure Outgoing Mail Server

    Configure the Outgoing Mail Server to ensure work reports are sent successfully via email.

    Create Timesheet Entry

    Create and save a new timesheet entry for a task. Once saved, the system prepares the work report based on the selected report method.

    Automatic Task-based Report Sending

    For Task Report mode, a work report is sent after each task timesheet entry is created.

    Enable Daily Report Mode

    Select Daily Report as the report method in Timesheet Settings to generate daily summaries per employee.

    Scheduled Action for Report Sending

    A Scheduled Action (Cron Job) is automatically created to handle the daily work report email sending at the configured time.

    Scheduled Daily Work Report

    At the configured scheduled time, a daily work report email is automatically sent for each employee.

    Daily Work Report Output (Employee Summary)

    The final daily work report output displays a summarized view of all tasks performed by an employee during the day, including task status and time spent.
