Getting Started
Set up your dental clinic POS in minutes.
Install Module
Install WT POS Dental Clinic from Apps. Requires WT Dental Management and Point of Sale (auto-installed).
Configure Treatments
Go to Dental → Treatments. Create treatments with prices, durations and linked products. Add dentists and rooms.
Enable in POS
Go to POS → Configuration. Open your POS terminal and enable Dental Clinic Mode. The dental button appears in the POS navbar.
Start Taking Appointments
Open POS, click the Dental button. Book appointments, accept walk-ins, assign dentists, and process payments — all from one screen.

Appointment in POS
Step-by-step booking wizard: select treatment, patient, dentist and room. Supports advance payments and time slots.
Walk-In Patients
Instant walk-in patient handling. Select treatments, optionally assign a patient, and send directly to POS order for payment.
Dentist Assignment
Assign dentists to appointments. Track availability and workload per dentist with live workload badges.
Room Grid
Visual grid of treatment rooms and dental chairs with live status — Available, Reserved, or In Use. Click any room to view or start the appointment.
POS Payment Integration
Treatments are added directly to the POS order. Accept cash, card or any configured payment method. Appointments auto-complete after payment.
Treatment Tracking
View all today's appointments with status filters — confirmed, in-progress, done. Monitor active treatments in real time from the POS.
Advance Payments
Collect partial advance payment at booking time. Remaining balance is charged when the treatment is completed.
Backend Dental Management
Full backend for treatments, dentists, rooms, appointments and patient records. Powered by WT Dental Management module.
No POS Disruption
POS loads normally on the Product Screen. Dental features open as an overlay dialog — the rest of POS stays fully operational underneath.
How to Use — Step by Step
Complete guide from install to first appointment.
Install the Module
Go to Apps, search for WT POS Dental Clinic and click Install. WT Dental Management and Point of Sale will install automatically as dependencies.
Create Treatments & Dentists
Go to Dental → Treatments and create your treatment catalog (Cleaning, Filling, Root Canal, Extraction, etc.) with prices and durations. Then add dentists under Dental → Dentists with their available treatments.
Set Up Treatment Rooms
Go to Dental → Rooms. Add your treatment rooms, dental chairs and stations. These appear as a visual grid in POS showing live availability.
Enable Dental Clinic in POS Config
Go to Point of Sale → Configuration. Open your POS terminal settings and enable Dental Clinic Mode. Optionally set the default treatment product for POS order lines.
Open POS & Start Booking
Open the POS session. Click the Dental button in the top navbar. The dental clinic management dialog opens with rooms, today's appointments, and action buttons for booking, walk-in, running treatments, and tracking.
Process Payment
When a treatment is added to order, proceed to the standard POS payment screen. Accept cash, card or any payment method. The appointment is automatically marked as done after successful payment.
