Copy Modul ke Direktori Addons
Copy folder modul ke direktori custom-addons Odoo:
Tambahkan Path ke odoo.conf
Daftarkan path addons custom di file konfigurasi Odoo:
addons_path = /odoo/addons,/odoo/custom-addons
Restart Service Odoo
Restart agar Odoo mendeteksi modul baru:

Install dari Menu Apps Odoo
Masuk ke Apps → Filter "Not Installed" → cari "Discord Mention" → klik Install.
Konfigurasi
Tiga langkah konfigurasi setelah modul berhasil diinstall
Buat Discord Webhook
Buka Discord Server → channel yang akan menerima notifikasi, lalu:
Edit Channel → Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook
Beri nama webhook (mis. Odoo Notif), pilih channel tujuan, lalu klik Copy Webhook URL.
Simpan Webhook URL di Odoo
Masuk ke Settings → Technical → Parameters → System Parameters
Tambahkan atau edit entri berikut:
Value : https://discord.com/api/webhooks/<id>/<token>
Isi Discord User ID di Profil Setiap User
Masuk ke Settings → Users & Companies → Users → pilih user → tab Discord → isi field Discord User ID.
Cara mendapatkan Discord User ID:
Buka Discord → User Settings → Advanced → aktifkan Developer Mode
Klik kanan nama user di server → Copy User ID
Paste angka tersebut ke field Discord User ID di profil user Odoo
123456789012345678). Pastikan tidak ada spasi atau karakter lain.
Selesai — Assign task dan lihat mention langsung di Discord!
Setiap kali field user_ids pada task dibuat atau diubah, webhook otomatis dipanggil tanpa perlu cron job.

Keamanan & Catatan Penting
Hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan saat mengoperasikan modul ini
Webhook URL aman di System Parameter — hanya user dengan akses Administrator yang dapat melihat atau mengubah nilai discord.webhook.url.
Jangan hardcode Webhook URL di kode Python. Jika URL bocor, siapapun bisa mengirim pesan ke channel Discord Anda. Selalu gunakan System Parameters.
Discord User ID bersifat numerik — pastikan tidak salah salin. ID yang salah menyebabkan mention tidak sampai ke user yang dituju.
User tanpa Discord ID tetap menerima notifikasi — pesan tetap terkirim ke Discord namun tanpa mention. User tersebut tidak akan mendapat ping notifikasi.
Notifikasi dikirim setiap perubahan user_ids — termasuk saat re-assign atau menambah assignee baru ke task yang sudah ada.
Log tersedia di Odoo — semua notifikasi sukses maupun gagal dicatat di /var/log/odoo/odoo.log dengan prefix logger ydod_project_discord_mention.
Troubleshooting
Solusi untuk masalah yang paling sering ditemui

| Notifikasi tidak terkirim ke Discord | Periksa System Parameters → discord.webhook.url. Pastikan URL sudah diisi dan benar formatnya. |
| Mention tidak muncul di pesan Discord | Pastikan field Discord User ID sudah diisi di profil user (Settings → Users → tab Discord). Nilai harus berupa angka, aktifkan Developer Mode di Discord untuk mendapatkannya. |
| Modul tidak muncul di Apps | Aktifkan Developer Mode di Odoo, lalu jalankan Apps → Update Apps List. Pastikan path addons sudah ditambahkan ke odoo.conf. |
Error requests not found |
Jalankan pip install requests di environment Python yang digunakan Odoo. Di Odoo 19, library ini biasanya sudah tersedia secara bawaan. |
| Discord mengembalikan error 404 | Webhook URL sudah tidak valid — kemungkinan sudah dihapus di Discord. Buat webhook baru dan update nilai di System Parameters. |
| Discord mengembalikan error 429 (Rate Limit) | Terlalu banyak notifikasi dikirim dalam waktu singkat. Discord membatasi 30 request/menit per webhook. Pertimbangkan untuk membatasi frekuensi assign task. |
