Set the product's Cost Price, which is used to calculate the minimum selling price and validate allowed discounts in the POS..
The system automatically blocks discounts that would reduce the selling price below the configured Cost Price and Minimum Profit Margin, protecting your business from loss-making sales.
When a line discount is already applied, the system automatically disables other discount methods such as Global Discount, Reward, and Coupon Code to prevent discount stacking.
Enable Bypass Product Cost Guard for specific products to exclude them from cost price and margin validations, allowing unrestricted discounts for those items.
Products with Bypass Product Cost Guard enabled are not subject to cost or margin restrictions, allowing all available discount methods without limitations.
Activate Cashier Max Discount Limits to control discounts based on individual cashier permissions. When enabled, Cost Price Guard is automatically disabled to avoid conflicting validation rules.
Assign a Maximum Discount Allowed (%) for each cashier. The employee can only apply discounts up to the configured percentage during POS transactions.
If a cashier attempts to apply a discount that exceeds their configured Maximum Discount Allowed (%), the system blocks the transaction and displays a validation message, ensuring compliance with company discount policies.
