Advanced Product Bundle Pack is an Odoo module that lets you create and sell product bundles easily. You can combine multiple products into one bundle, add bundles to sales orders with a single click, modify bundle contents anytime, view bundles in exploded format to see all components, and sell bundles on your website. It's perfect for creating product packs, starter kits, gift packages, and promotional offers.

It's simple! When creating or editing a sales order, you'll see an "Add Bundle" button. Click it, select the bundle you want from the list, choose the quantity, and click confirm. All the products in that bundle will be added to your order automatically. No need to add each product individually.

Installation

  • Go to Apps menu
  • Click "Update Apps List"
  • Search for "Advanced Product Bundle Pack"
  • Click on the module
  • Click "Install" button

How to use this module:

  1. Go to Apps and Install the Module : In your Odoo dashboard, navigate to Apps, search for Advanced Product Bundle Pack, and install it to start creating powerful product bundles.
  2. Configure Settings (Admin only) : Go to Settings > Purchase and scroll to the Advanced Product Bundle Pack section to configure:
    • Allow Bundle Pack on Purchase: Enable this option to allow bundle products to be purchased through Purchase Orders
  3. Create a Bundle Product : Navigate to Sales > Products Pack, create a new product or edit an existing one:
    • Enable the Is Bundle Pack checkbox
    • The product type will automatically be set to Goods to ensure proper inventory tracking
    • Add a name, description, and other basic product details
    • Set the product image and pricing
  4. Add Bundle Components : In the Pack Products tab of your bundle product:
    • Click Add a line to add component products
    • Select the product you want to include in the bundle
    • Specify the quantity of each component product
    • Add as many component products as needed for your bundle
  5. Set Bundle Pricing : Configure your bundle pricing strategy:
    • Manual Pricing: Set a specific sales price for the bundle (e.g., discounted combo price)
    • Automatic Pricing: Enable Calculate Pack Price to automatically sum up component prices
    • The system will track both the bundle sales price and cost from components
  6. Use Bundles in Sales Orders : Navigate to Sales > Orders > Quotations:
    • Create a new quotation or sales order
    • Add your bundle product to the order lines
    • The bundle will be displayed as a single line item
    • Use the Explode Bundle wizard to break down the bundle into individual components if needed
    • Component products can be viewed in the order line details
  7. Publish Bundle to Website (optional) : For eCommerce integration:
    • Go to your bundle product page
    • Click Go to Website button
    • Publish the product to make it visible on your web store
    • Bundle components will be displayed on the product page
    • Customers can see what's included in the bundle before purchasing
  8. Purchase Bundles from Suppliers (if enabled) : Navigate to Purchase > Orders > Request for Quotation:
    • Create a new purchase order
    • Add bundle products if the configuration setting is enabled
    • Bundle components will be properly tracked for receiving and inventory
  9. Manage Bundle Inventory : The system automatically handles inventory for bundles:
    • When a bundle is sold, the component products' stock is automatically reduced
    • Stock levels of components are displayed when viewing the bundle
    • Proper stock moves are created for each component during delivery
    • Bundle availability is based on component availability
  10. Generate Invoices & Reports : Bundles are fully integrated with invoicing:
    • Create invoices from sales orders containing bundles
    • Bundle products appear as line items on customer invoices
    • View bundle details in sales reports and analytics
    • Track bundle performance and profitability
