The Website Email Verification ensures that customers register using valid and active email addresses when signing up on your Odoo website. It adds a mandatory verification step to prevent fake accounts, fraudulent orders, and cash-on-delivery (COD) losses while ensuring all order updates and invoices reach genuine customers.
When a new user creates an account, the system automatically sends a verification link to their registered email address. Until the email is verified, users are restricted from placing orders or accessing specific website features.
