When a customer purchases a subscription product and the sales order is confirmed, the module automatically creates a subscription record linked to that order. The subscription becomes active immediately on the confirmation date, and the customer receives a purchase confirmation email containing all the subscription details, including the plan, start date, billing cycle, and price. No manual action is required from the backend team.

Yes, if the subscription plan is configured as Closable by Customer, the customer can cancel their subscription directly from their portal account. They are required to select a cancellation reason from a predefined list and can optionally add additional notes. Once the cancellation is submitted, the subscription is marked as cancelled immediately and a cancellation confirmation email is sent to the customer automatically.
