We can add canned response for all the modules and it will be shown in the send message area and in Live chat.
Go to Settings -> Click on Activate the developer mode.
Go to Settings -> Technical -> Canned Response.
Create the canned response to show in send message.

Open a record and click on Send Message and enter : to make the canned response visible. The canned response will be visible for all the modules which has the send message option below the form.
