Construction Management of Construction Projects and Job Orders / Work Orders Management Odoo Module
This module provide features to manage Construction Business / Industry.
Main Features
- Allow your Project Managers to create construction projects.
- Allow your Project Manager / User to create Job Order / Work Order / Task for construction projects.
- Allow you to specify Construction Site Details on Construction Project (Construction Type and Location Details).
- Notes smart button on Project so you can see the specific construction project related notes.
- Project User(s) / Worker / User work on construction project Job orders / Work orders assigned to them.
- Project Manager can create sub tasks on Job orders / Work orders and see the subtasks tab on Job orders / Work orders / Tasks.
- Added Material Planning Tab to plan material for specific Job orders / Work orders and products before starting job or during running Job orders / Work orders and they can request for that.
- Added Material Consumed Tab on Job orders / Work orders related to see what material and product are needed for construction projects / Jobs.
- Material Requisition Tab shows the Material Requisition Details on Job orders / Work orders.
- Stock Moves Tab shows the Stock Moves Details on Job orders / Work orders.
- Project Manager can Create Notes for Project and Job orders / Work orders / Tasks.
- Material Requisitions / BOQ can view the Material Purchase Requisitions.
- Allow you to specify BOQ Type on Product or Materials or Item.
- Contractor details show on the Contractor Menu.
- Configure the construction stages for different construction projects and job order.
- New groups are created on top of project users and project manager roles. For example, a Planning Engineer is Project user and Design Manager can be project manager. Please check the screenshot of groups added.

Construction Project - Project Manager
Project manager can create construction project and manage project with different jor orders / Issues / Notes etc... Using project as Construction Project we are using all project management features and which will give strong mangement of Construction business.
Project User Work on Job Orders
Each project user will be assign to job orders for that Construction project where he can view full details and documents related to that job order/ task. Project user can communicate with project team using chatter of job order.
Material Planning On Job Order
This tab allow project manager / project user to plan material and products before starting job and they can request procuremnt / stock deparment for that.
Material Consumed On Job Order
This will give idea material consumed during job order related to construction project.
Create Internal Picking
Intern Picking Done
Material Request / Bill of Quantity On Job Order
This tab will show all material request to outside vendor/subcontractor which we call Bill of Quantity for construction job order.
Stock Move On Job Orders
Project Manager - Create SubTask Job Order
Project manager can dividie main/big task into subtasks/sub job orders and assign to users.
Project Manager - Add Notes
This note feature is customizated to handle notes for specific Construction project. So project manager can make notes for different projects for his/her todo list and meetings.
Added BOQ Type on Material
Options are Machinery / Equipment, Worker / Resource, Work Cost Package, Subcontract.
This will be used in Material Request / BOQ whlie calculating total cost for each category/type of material/labour.

Hello Mario,
The app is available in English but you can do the translation into your Spanish language by creating PO and POT files in the module. So the translation of the app can be done without any issue but using translation files which you will have to create it under i18n folder.

Looking for function
If job costing cannot be related with construction management, I just wondered if you can help me about next situation. I'm looking add purchase cost to the budget project, I mean, the project estimation (when I sale a service $$, it creates a project) is resting the cost per hour that employees register on the task, but when I make purchase requisition and do the purchase, that cost is'nt resting on the project, anda I'm looking resting that too. Hope you can help to know if any of your apps can do this and work with construction management.

Hi Oscar, When you create purchase order and then you have to create vendor bill for that purchase order and it will record your cost to that project once you validate vendor bill. Issue installing Module
Hi I've already installed this modules on Odoo community V12: 1.-Purchase requisition 2.-Job Costing Management And havin' issues installing Construction management and Job costing management, only I can have 1 installed. Since you have bought also https://apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/13.0/construction_management_app/ this app which is also having similar feature so may not work with odoo_job_costing_management together.
