Product QR Code Generator
The Odoo Product QR Code Generator App is a smart and automated solution designed to
generate
unique QR codes for products within Odoo. Once installed, the app automatically creates a QR code for
each
product based on configurable logic such as prefix, suffix, separators, sequence
numbering, or
dynamic fields like product name, category, and financial
year.
The module supports multiple QR generation templates — including Random, Financial
Year
based patterns, and customizable Legend formats. You can generate QR codes
automatically for new
products or run bulk generation for existing records to ensure consistent product identification across
your
inventory.
It also provides professionally formatted QR label printing with various layout
templates
(for example 2×7, 4×7, 4×12), enabling quick PDF exports ready for printing and labeling in warehouse,
packaging, or point-of-sale environments.
With automated QR generation, flexible formatting rules, and printable label templates,enhances product
traceability—helping warehouse and retail operations
become faster, more organized, and scan-friendly.
A live demonstration can be provided to showcase how QR codes are generated, stored,
and printed
within Odoo’s product workflow.

Setup
Activate the "Product QR Code Generator" module.
After activating this module, go to Settings → Product QR Code Generator Configuration and enable the Auto-Generate QR Code option.
Mark 'Prefix-Suffix' True and given other configurations to enable that functionality
QR code and QR code image will get auto and generated when product create.
To generate manually by from view
Mark 'Replace Existing' True to replace the existing QR Code and QR Code Image.
New generated QR Code and QR Code Image.
To generate multiple product's QR Code and Image from list view
Mark 'Replace Existing' True to replace the existing QR Code and QR Code Image.

To enable random auto genrate QR Code mark this toggle as true and give Maximum Length number to generate random QR Code of that number.

Mark 'Financial Year' and Select your Country to enable auto generate product QR Code and Image based on selected country's financial year.

Mark 'Legend' true and give 'Legend Format' to auto generate QR Code and Image as per given legend format.

String Uppercase will always generate QR Code in Uppercase. 'Product Name Config' will generate QR Code based on product name, and will take first char as per given digit. 'Product Category' will generate QR Code based on product's selected category. 'Product Attribute' will generate QR Code based on product's selected attribute.

The next image will show the option to generate QR codes for all products together. The current image shows the previously generated QR codes for all products.
Click on this button generate all products QR Codes from settings.
Select model name in which you want to generate QR Code for all records
Mark 'Replace Existing' true will replace existing QR Codes with new generated QR Code.

'Print Labels' 2x7 with price result
To print in the Dymo format, click on the Print Label option, then select Dymo in the popup. After that, specify how many copies you need, and you can print it.
