Cancel Scrap Orders

1.) Enabling the Scrap Order Cancel Feature

This setting allows administrators to enable or disable the Scrap Order Cancel Feature in the application. By activating this option, users will have the ability to cancel scrap orders as needed, enhancing flexibility in order management. The option is found under the "Technical" section in the Other category of the settings menu.

2.) Configuring Scrap Order Cancel Options

Administrators can configure the operation type for canceling scrap orders in this section. The available options include Cancel, which simply completes the cancellation process; Cancel and Reset to Draft, which reverts the order back to a draft state for potential further processing; and Cancel and Delete, which completely removes the order from the system. Selecting the appropriate option allows for tailored control over the order cancellation process, based on the organization's workflow requirements.

3.) Initiating Scrap Order Cancellation

In this section, users can initiate the cancellation process for a specific scrap order. The scrap order details, including product, quantity, and source document, are displayed here. The "Cancel" button is located prominently, allowing the user to cancel the order directly. This functionality ensures that scrap orders can be managed efficiently, with a clear trace of the action in the system logs.

4.) Scrap Order Cancellation in Progress

Once the user selects the Cancel option for a scrap order, the order status is updated to reflect the cancellation. This action is logged in the activity history to provide a clear audit trail of changes made to the scrap order, ensuring transparency in the order management process. The "Cancel" button is now highlighted, showing that the cancellation process is being executed.

5.) Selecting the Scrap Order Cancellation Reset Option

In this configuration setting, administrators can choose the operation type for canceling scrap orders. The "Draft" status indicates that the order is in a pending state and can be modified or canceled.

8.) Configuring the "Cancel and Delete" Option for Scrap Orders

This configuration section allows administrators to select the desired operation type for canceling scrap orders. The Cancel and Delete option is chosen here, which not only cancels the scrap order but also permanently deletes it from the system. This option ensures that the scrap order is fully removed and cannot be recovered, offering a more complete cancellation solution for specific business processes.

The status column indicates the current state of each order: "Done" for completed orders, "Draft" for pending orders, and "Cancel" for orders that have been canceled. This view allows users to efficiently track and manage scrap orders in different stages of processing.

11.) Bulk Canceling Scrap Orders

This section allows users to select multiple scrap orders and perform bulk actions. By checking the boxes next to the desired orders, users can choose to cancel them all at once using the Cancel Scrap option from the "Actions" dropdown menu. This feature simplifies the process of managing and canceling several scrap orders simultaneously, streamlining inventory operations.

12.) Resetting Scrap Orders to Draft

In this section, users can select multiple scrap orders and reset their status back to Draft using the Reset Scrap to Draft option in the "Actions" dropdown. This action allows users to reprocess scrap orders that were previously marked as Done or Canceled, giving them the opportunity to edit or finalize the orders again.

13.) Bulk Cancel and Delete Scrap Orders

This feature allows users to select multiple scrap orders and perform a bulk action to cancel and delete them simultaneously. The Cancel & Delete Scrap option in the Actions dropdown ensures that selected scrap orders are not only canceled but completely removed from the system. This action is useful for managing and cleaning up scrap orders that are no longer needed.

14.) Viewing Scrap Orders List with Different Statuses

This section displays all scrap orders with their respective statuses, including Done, Draft, and Cancel. The status column clearly identifies whether the order is completed, pending, or canceled. This view provides users with a comprehensive overview of all orders, making it easier to manage and track the progress of each scrap order.
