Configure Automated Invoice Email for a Customer

After installing and activating the module, configure the Incoming and Outgoing Mail Servers to ensure email delivery, then navigate to the Contacts app and open the customer for whom you want to enable automatic invoice emailing.

Select the customer (for example, Marc Demo), go to the Sales & Purchase tab, and enable the Automated Invoice Email option as shown in the image.

Create an Invoice for an Automated Email Customer

After that, go to Accounting > Customers > Invoices and create a new invoice. Select the customer that has been configured for Automated Invoice Email, add the required products, and simply save the invoice as shown in the image, and then confirm it.

Validate the Invoice

After that, click on Confirm, Once confirmed, the invoice is validated and its state changes from Draft to Posted, which can be verified in the chatter section.

After validating the invoice, the invoice email is sent automatically and successfully to the customer, as shown in the picture.

What does this module do?

This module automatically sends customer invoices by email as soon as they are validated in Odoo.

Do I need to click the "Send" button to email the invoice?

No, once the invoice is validated, the email is sent automatically without any manual action.

Where can I enable automated invoice emailing?

You can enable it from the Contacts app under the Sales & Purchase tab for each customer.

Will the email composer popup appear during validation?

No, the entire process runs in the background without opening any email composer window.

Is any additional configuration required after installation?

Yes, Incoming and Outgoing Mail Servers must be properly configured in Odoo for email delivery.
