This module enhances the Partner form view in Odoo by displaying the last confirmed Sale Order and Purchase Order associated with each partner. By providing quick visibility into the last transaction details including the order date users can make more informed decisions and improve the efficiency of customer and vendor interactions. 1. User Access Rights for Last Order Info.
After installing the module, follow these steps to grant users access to the Partner Last PO and SO Order feature:
1. Navigate to Settings => Users.
2. Select the user you want to authorize.
3. In the user configuration, enable the appropriate Partner Last PO and SO Order Access Rights.
A user-specific access control setting allows system administrators
to enable or restrict visibility of last order data on the partner
form.
2. Partner Form â Before New Order Confirmation.
Go to Contacts => Sales & Purchase
Before new orders are confirmed, the partner form continues to show
the previously confirmed last Sale and Purchase Orders.
3. Sale Order Confirmation View.
Once a Sale Order is confirmed, the linked partnerâs form is automatically updated with the most recent Sale Order reference and its confirmation date.
4. Purchase order Confirmation View.
Once a Purchase Order is confirmed, the linked partnerâs form is automatically updated with the most recent Purchase Order reference and its confirmation date.
5. Partner Form â After Order Confirmation.
Go to Contacts => Sales & Purchase
Upon confirmation of new Sale and Purchase Orders, the partner
record is automatically updated to reflect the latest order numbers
and confirmation dates
