HOW IT WORKS

In full mail composer view, when you add recipients that are not followers, it will automatically pushed them into the Exclude list;
If you remove them from Exclude list, they are added to Include list
- Include: include contacts in this list to be followers of the discussion
- Exclude: contacts in this list will not become followers and only receive the message notification

If you are not currently following the discussion, you will have a checkbox to decide whether you will be subscribed to it or not
