Delivery FedEx REST Extra Options
Description
This module facilitates the transmission of additional information to FedEx for enhanced shipping processing.
Configuration
After installing the Delivery FedEx Extra Options application, the feature will be enabled.
Go to Sales - - > Configuration - - > Shipping Methods.
For the FedEx service type, there are various options available.
FedEx One Rate Pricing:One Rate Pricing will be available only for specific FedEx service types and will be found under the “Fedex Configuration” tab.
The FedEx service types that allow for one-rate pricing are listed below.
- FedEx First Overnight® Freight
- FedEx Priority Overnight®
- FedEx Standard Overnight®
- FedEx 2Day® AM
- FedEx 2Day®
- FedEx Express Saver®
Functionality
FedEx One Rate
Create a sales order, and choose the shipping term “Prepaid & Add”.
Include the package details in the delivery order and then validate to view the tracking details of the “FedEx One Rate Pricing” in the log note.
The same process works for the remaining supported “FedEx Service Type”.

The selected FedEx service type, “FedEx 2Day®” will be visible in the shipment label.
FedEx Ground (Collect, Bill 3rd Party)
Create a sales order, and the shipping term can be selected as Collect, Bill 3rd Party.
Include the package details in the delivery order and then validate to view the tracking details in the log note.
Bill 3rd Party
The signature type must be set as Adult or Direct from the delivery order under the Additional Info tab.
The selected FedEx service type, “FedEx International Ground® and FedEx Domestic Ground®” will be visible in the shipment label.
