How It Works
From installation to your first routed email in four simple steps
Install Mail Routing from the Odoo App Store. It instantly overrides the standard mail gateway to prevent silent email drops.
Navigate to Settings and choose who should be notified when a new unroutable email is intercepted and parked in the Lost inbox.
Open any lost message; our engine automatically scans the content to suggest the correct destination record (Lead, SO, PO).
Confirm the suggested record or pick a new one, then click Route. The email and its attachments are instantly attached to the document.

Can I route emails to any record?
Yes. The module supports routing to any Odoo record (Leads, Tickets, SO, PO, etc.) as long as the model is whitelisted in settings.
Does it work in Multi-Company?
Absolutely. Intercepted messages respect company isolation, and alerts are sent only to designated recipients for that company.
What about email attachments?
Full attachment support. When you route a message, all original PDF, image, and document attachments are moved and attached to the target record.
How are suggestions generated?
Our engine uses regex and elastic search patterns to find document references (like S0001 or #1052) in the mail subject and body.
