Job Costing Management System
InterAcct Job Costing for Odoo provides the functionality to cost control for jobs.
From Enquiry, to Estimating, Quotations, Budgets, and then Actual vs Budget analysis.
Years of experience in Job Costing Applications

We have been developing job costing systems since the early 1990s. This package will suit all types of clients who have a job costing requirement,
from someone charging out time on a job basis, to a client building a skyscraper. Master Jobs can be setup with multiple sub-jobs under them which can be split up again.
This module is an alternative solution to setting up analytical accounts in Odoo to track your Job Costing.
Multiple Sub Jobs per Master Job
Depending on the complexitity of the job you might need to split the job into multiple sub jobs.
Your subjobs could be different areas of work (like different locations/functions), or it could be different stages (Prelims, Foundations etc) Each Job (Sub Job) can have it's own budget and actual costs assigned to it, so you can keep a track of each section of your main job and how it is going. Quotations are typically generated at the Master Job level, and will allow you to pickup individual estimates which exist under the Sub Jobs and attach them to create a quotation to present to the customer. Each Job's actual costs are broken down into Labor, Materials, Subcontractors, Machines and Sundry Costs. In the below example, you can see we have 5 Sub Jobs, 2 of them have Budgets, and one has Actual Costs.

Multiple Estimates per Job
Your clients might change thier minds, or some other change might require you to re-estimate a job.
Create multiple estimates per job. Could be used to re-estimate the whole job, or add another variation to the job. Estimates are then consolidated by the Master Job and attached to the quotation. Each Estimate is broken down into Labor, Materials, Subcontractors, Machines and Sundry Costs, in the below example you can see that there are 2 Estimates, one has been assigned to a Sales Order. You can also see from here the options to view the actual transactions against the cost groups, and a summary of the Budget, Actual and Variance.

Estimates
Seperated into Cost Groups
Under the estimate, as you can see you have tabs for each of the cost groups (labor, materials, subbies, machines & sundry) You can setup here all the details and breakdown of what you expect to occur on the job. There is also a description for the estimate which will be added to the quotation when this is generated. Normally teh sell price is calculated with the idea of cost a markup, but we do provide the option to enter the Estimate using the Sell Price setup under the Product Database.

Quotations
Flexible Options to consolidate details, or show all details of the estimate.
Depending on what you are selling and your client's requirements, you might want to select what sort of layout you want to present to the customer. From a itemised version which will show every line from the estimate, to a single line total of the quote with no details at all. The estimate can be sorted by each estimate, or sub job, or just thrown together into the Master Job. It's up to you.

Itemised Quotation
Here is an example of an itemised quotation, you will notice it has split it up into 3 sections for each of the Estimates we have included, and all the cost items which were included in the estimate. It has also included a long description which has come from the estimate setup.

Budget, Actual & Variances
Comparing the Budget vs the Actuals to work out the Variance
Once the actuals have been entered related to the Job (or Sub Job), you will see those actual costs compared to the budget costs which have been assigned to the job.
