Here's a scenario: A customer sends you a purchase order with the PO number 'PO123', and you create a sales order in Odoo with the PO number 'PO123'. However, a few days later, due to a customer's mistake, they send you another purchase order with the same PO number 'PO123'. The sales order items are the same as the previous one. If you don't remember and create another sales order, delivering for both orders, it could cause trouble for you and your customer.
With this app, you'll receive a warning message if the customer's PO number already exists.
List features:
1. Identify field which is the customer PO number on the Sale Order.
- You can identify which field is the customer PO number on the Sale Order by yourself.
- Go to Sales -> Configuration -> Settings.
- After you save this setting, Odoo will treat this as customer po number on Sale Order.
2. Show warning message if PO number exist.
- When sale order is confirmed, a waring message will be shown if PO number already existed for the same customer.
- If you click on 'Confirm' button on the warning popup. The sale order will be confirmed.
