Project Task Stage Access
This module enhances access control for tasks based on their stage.
In the stage form view, two additional fields have been added to improve task management:
- Editable: When this option is checked, all fields within tasks in this stage are editable. If left unchecked, the fields remain uneditable.
- Visibility Group: Only users who belong to the groups specified in this field can access tasks in this stage. If no group is specified, the task is accessible to all users.
Configuration
Go to Project
In the home menu, click on Project.
Go to Stage
In the main menu of the Project, navigate to Configuration â Task Stages.
In the list view of Task Stages, select the stage you wish to configure.
In the stage form view, two additional fields have been added to improve task management:
- Editable: When this option is checked, all fields within tasks in this stage are editable. If left unchecked, the fields remain uneditable.
- Visibility Group: Only users who belong to the groups specified in this field can access tasks in this stage. If no group is specified, the task is accessible to all users.
When combined with the visibility settings in the Project, internal users invited to follow tasks in a stage that are not part of the specified Visibility Group will not be able to access those tasks.
