Website Machine Maintenance and Repair Management Odoo Apps

This module is useful for Manufacturers and industrial-supply companies often refer to MRO(Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) as opposed to original equipment manufacturer (OEM). OEM includes any activity related to the direct manufacture of goods, where MRO refers to any maintenance and repair activity to keep a manufacturing plant running. Maintenance is strictly connected to the stage of ideation, in which the concept of maintainability must be included.

This Odoo module provides different access control as Service manager, Technician , Head Technician and Director. After installing this Odoo apps customer can able to place service request from the website as well as service manager can able to create repair order request from customer. Each machine is consider as product in Odoo.After submitted repair order customer can view status of the repair request from the website portal and communicate with service repair team. Repair order creates with serial number along with guarantee type. Once Repair order added head technician will create Diagnosis of repair order and assign it to specific technician. Technician will do the diagnosis and enter result of diagnosis process, they will enter service spent time as well as require consumed materials-parts on diagnosis result based on this result service manager will create Sales Quotation for the repair order and send to the customer.Once Quotation confirmed, work order for repair order is automatically created and technical can start work on it. Sales process is completely integrated with the repair order , so whenever any process is change repair order stage will change accordingly i.e Quotation Sent, Quotation Approved,Work order, Invoice etc. It also provides different pdf reports repair order report, Repair label, Diagnosis and work order report.

Create machine repair order from website.

You can create machine repair order with machine related information.

Add machine service details.

You can add machine service details like (Machine guarantee,Guarantee type).

Print Report.

You can print machine repair,dignosis, workorder reports.

Manage machine work order.

You can manage machine repair work order (start,pending,resume,cancel).

Create machine diagnosis.

You can create diagnosis based on machine repair order.

You can create machine diagnosis based on machine repair order from website.

Fully Automated workflow.

Repair order, Diagnosis and workorder are fully automated with workflow process, So when anything get saffected on any document, should be reflected on repair process. i.e When Quotation created and sent, it changes stage as "Quotation Sent" on repair, when workorder finsihed it change as Workorder completed.

Assign to Technician.

Uses are allowed to assign machine diagnosis to technician.

Creating Repair Order from Website

Add Machine information to be repair including machine and customer details with proper Serial No.


Repair Order Successful

After Submit the details you will get confirmation and acknowledgement.


Repair Order Backend Updation

The details will update to Repair Order in the backend accordingly.


Repair Order Serial No Validation

Wrong Serial No for a particular product cannot be submitted.


How to Create Repair Order

Add Machine information to be repair including machine and customer details,also have facility to assign it to technician with priority.


Machine Service Details

In machine details you Have option to select under guarantee 'yes' or 'no'. With paid or free service and description regarding it.


After filling all these information your machine repair order has been ready now you can easily print as receipt and give it to your customer.

Easy to create diagnosis in one click with same information as repair order, then you can assigned it to specific technician.

Once Quotation get confirm it will become sales order(default workflow of Odoo) and same time it will create workorder on system. Which indicates that need to start working on machine to be repair.Assigned technician can start working based on workorder and once click on start will automatically set start date on workorder.

Technician can put a workorder in pending and can put on hold workorder and resume it again.

Once Technician finished the workorder will record the end date and also record the duration for the whole workorder and able to generate a workorder report too.

After the workorder has been completed Salesperson/Accountant generate invoice from the salesorder and send it to client either with print or send by email. And standard odoo invoicing workflow resume here to validate a invoice and register payment.

Access Rights and Roles

We have four different access groups for machine repair module.

Roles

- Technician :- Technician can work on work order.He/She can only see his/her work order and only work on his/her assigned work order.Technician can only have reading access to diagnosis and repair order.

- Head Technician :- Head technician can see all work order also able to assign a technician on a dignosis and work order. He/she has access to enter dignosis result. He/She cannot change any thing on a repair order.

- Service Manager :- Service Manager creates repair order.convert it as a dignosis able to create quotations.

- Director Commercial :- Director Commercial is the admin of this system he/she has full access rights of every thing.

This Odoo app can not be used with Odoo Online (SaaS).
